Not thrilled!

After 4 months and a new battery I'd say that I'm happy with my Roomba but not Thrilled. It seems if we ran it 10 times 8 times there's some sorta issue! Battery, stuck on a cliff or the battery dies before completion. I mean on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd say 6.

While models like the i7 and s9 are great for entire home cleaning the Roomba 675 performs best in spaces of 1-2 rooms. The 675 will attempt to clean the entire area, and return home as it's battery life drains. If Roomba is too far away from the base then it may not return to the Home Base. Used to work, now it preferes only one room

It used to be good about cleaning the entire floor properly. Lately, its has been constantly trapping itself in one room then using up its battery there. Right now, the base is located in the main room where I want it to clean and it finds its way through the only opening to the place where I do not want it. I pick it up and set it as far as possible from the opening and it immediately it finds its way back there and using the virtual wall inst an option at the moment as it is being used to block water bowls for pets. It defeats the purpose of the vacuum if I have to keep picking it up.

Fairly Efficient

Hazel cleans really well as whole, but takes a LONG time to clean the kitchen and dining/living room. She also tends to go over some areas over and over, but only hits other areas once. Finally, Hazel needs wide open spaces. She gets stuck under some furniture (rams into rocker/recliner hard enough to get under but then gets trapped) and stuck between dining room table and chairs (gets in with ease but can't reverse path out).

Okay Cleaning Tool, Not Perfect

I have used this robot several times and it has only returned to the home base on its own one time. It is usually heading home but gets stuck and the battery runs out before it arrives to the charging base. The last time it got stuck on the edge of a cliff (the top of the stairs) and I had to carry it back to the base. Otherwise, it seems to clean my hardwood floors pretty well. I was surprised how loud this unit is. I only use it on hardwoods, so I assume it would be a little quieter on carpet. I use it on my upstairs hardwood floors in three bedrooms, a bathroom and hallway. Since it is so loud, I start it before I leave the house. I know it has cleaned all of the spaces when it returns to the home base. When it gets stuck in the legs of a nightstand or on the edge of a cliff, I have no idea when that occurred during the cycle. Did it get to all the rooms or not? The unit is easy to maintain and I can control it on my phone. It recharges fairly rapidly and has run for close to two hours when fully charged. It's a fun thing to run, but I am puzzled as to why technology that has been around for 20+ years still has these minor issues.

Roomba 675

Received my Roomba 675 for Christmas 2020. I have wood floors and area rugs in all rooms. I have four dogs and the parakeets so my house is covered in dog fur, feathers and bird seed. I was vacuuming and dry mopping my floors up to three times a day. Betty cleans the house while I'm at work and I come home to clean floors. I wish I would have asked for her for Mother's Day. I will be purchasing one for my mothers house. I have recommended to my friends and family.

The only regret is not buying it sooner

I have hardwood floors in my entire house. Arthritis in my knees and other leg issues makes it difficult to sweep/vacuum. I also have 2 small dogs that shed like there's no tomorrow. They are constantly in and out through their doggy door, tracking dirt, leaves, fuzz, and other treasures inside.... ALL DAY. I also have 3 large windows facing west. Before my Roomba, my floors seemed to look clean, until the evening sun hit a certain way. All of a sudden, you can see every single piece of fur on the floor!! And it usually happened when I had company. It was gross. Now, no matter what I'm doing or where I'm at, I can easily turn it on with my phone! {Download app} By the time I get back home, my floors are spotless. I love it!! Only downfall is that it'll get stuck on a "cliff" often... Yesterday, the "cliff" was a scrunchie. Since it got stuck and I wasn't home, the battery eventually died, and we had to hunt for it to put it back on it's thingy to recharge.

I added a second Roomba

We bought our first Roomba about a year ago and was impressed at the job Rosie did. We have 2 cats and wife with allergies. I always thought we kept a pretty clean house but every time I ran our first unit I was amazed how much hair and dust it picked up even when things looked clean. We added Lilly to do our downstairs a couple of months ago and she is doing great. I run each one every other day on different schedules. We have hardwood upstairs and tile downstairs with one area rug in our living room. Both Rosie and Lilly can go under our furniture but every once and while they tend to get lost and not make it home to recharge. I like to empty dust bin after every use but when I have been out of town they seem to do fine even running 2 or 3 times without emptying. They make mopping the floor much easier and faster as we do not need to sweep the floors prior to mopping. Floors are much cleaner and allergies seem a bit better. They are a bit loud when running but after the first week the cats got used to them and sleep through both when they are running. Definitely a super time saver!

GREAD ADDITION TO OUR HOUSEHOLD!!!

It's amazing just how much debris this little appliance picks up. It's easy to clean out the debris bin. It is a little noisy, but if I need some "quiet" time because my daughter is visiting for coffee, I can always stop the appliance temporarily and start it back up again after my daughter leaves. No big deal. It really helps me keep my hardwood and tile floors clean--and climbs over the area rugs effortlessly. Because my furniture is so low to the ground, it cannot get under it. But I'll keep that in mind when we buy new living room furniture. I love this appliance and love that it has a smartphone app that I can use to program it as well as receive messages when the job is finished or whenever it meets with an "impasse".

Only cleans some parts of some rooms

Seems to do OK cleaning where it goes. Gets stuck repeatedly every time. Only seems to complete part of a room. Never cleans some rooms. Repeatedly runs into same pieces of furniture. Can't find dock unless you set it right in front of it. Have to vacuum again after frustration makes us shut it off. Not sure why so many people like Roomba??

Loving Pumbaa the Roomba!

So simple and easy to use. Quick charge and Pumbaa was ready to go. I thought our floors were pretty clean, but the first time she ran she found 84 dirt spots! After less than a week of running every day she was down to 5. Requires no help. I tell the app to get it started and walk away. Does seem to have some trouble finding the base sometimes.
