It has 3 mist settings so you can adjust it to your like and is quiet when it’s on so I can watch tv lol it holds about 4 liters of water so I refill it per 2 weeks of usage. I truly love it and it has been helping me greatly!!

During the colder months I run my heat just to knock the chill out of the main room. It has also helped my family's allergies. In the fall my home gets enough moisture in the air now. The tank lasts a long time. I will recommend to friends and family.

We use it in our daughter's room during the winter when our furnace makes the home somewhat dry. It is easy to use with three mist settings and three time settings. The water tank is also easy to fill after removing the top. I have not tried the essential oil pads. It is reassuring that it uses UV-C to prevent mold and mildew.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is amazing. I’ve gone through probably four humidifiers that stopped working, cracked, or leaked all over the furniture. This one is absolutely incredible. You can tell the superiority of this product as soon as you open the box. The packaging was very secure so that you can be sure you will get a pristine product. The humidifier comes in two main pieces. The top part contains all the controls including the power, the level of misting (low medium and high) and a timer! The top also has a VERY convenient handle which is sturdy and I’ve never seen before on a humidifier. So to connect the top to the base it’s as easy as lining up the dots on the sides. The base you can take to the sink and fill up leaving the top plugged into the wall with zero drip. I love this thing. I really, really do. I am also in love with the little port with a piece padding in it that you can put any scent in! When my kids get sink I also put eucalyptus everywhere to open up their lungs. You can’t put that right into a humidifier though. This one you can put right into the port! You don’t need to buy any specific items for different scents. You can choose. You could even put lavender in just to make the room smell nice. The machine is also soundless. That doesn’t mean there’s a low hum… there is literally no sound. Like I said, once I found this I am never, ever going back to another brand. It’s unbelievable. There’s also an amazing item that filters out your hard water if you have it. It’s a small capsule about the size of your thumb that you put right into the tank. I’ve had zero build up. I have no worries or complaints about this product. It’s fantastic.

You can easily remove the top for first time fills and add water from the top as you go to keep it filled. It has a timer feature for how many hours you want to run it and a place for aromatherapy or medicated pads to be slid in so you don't put it in the water. With this one I can actually smell the essential oils my wife adds to the pads. I also really like the light that is in it. We use it as a night light.

This humidifier makes it easy to maintain and provides a lot of great features. It has a clean reminder that lets you know when you need to clean it for best performance, so it isn’t a guessing game. I love the addition of the UV light to help kill germs and really filter and purify the air. It runs for a decent amount of time before I have to refill it. Typically I change the water if it’s been a day or two anyways. I use in my bedroom and love that I can add in aromatherapy essential oils with the pads. I use them often to help sleep or if I have a cold so it’s a great added feature. This humidifier is easier to fill than others I have owned in the past, it definitely minimizes spills and dripping water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Homedics Total Comfort UV-C Ultrasonic Humidifier works great in my master bedroom. It just the right size. I have sinus and allergy problems. Once we turn our heat on for the winter, the air in my home gets to dry. This works great to keep moisture in the room. I love the fact the UV-C kills bacteria, mold, and fungus. This help extremely with my allergies. It runs up to 45 hours when filled. Has an auto timer for up to 12 hours. We use it every night at bedtime. There is 3 visible mist settings. It ultra quiet, so it doesn’t effect my sleep. It makes it better!

I purchased this unit about one year ago, worked fine for about a month, then it shut off and would not turn back on. I cleaned the sensor at the bottom several times, with no luck. I loved it when it worked, but since I can't get it to work again, I may as well throw it in the garbage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting a new humidifier for awhile and the HoMedics Total Comfort did not disappoint! I love it! It is super quiet and lets out a nice visible mist, that can be adjusted to three different levels. The control panel is sleek and easy to use. There are blue lights on the buttons so that they can be seen at night, but they are not too bright as to disturb my sleep (even keeping it right next to my bed). There is also an option to turn on a light inside of it, but I don't use that. But the best part of all? It is so easy to fill! My old humidifier requires you to fill the tank and then flip it upside down, which is so awkward and always spills. This thing is SO MUCH EASIER. No leaking, no mess, no fuss. I love it! It feels well made and does a good job. I would absolutely recommend.
