The Homedics Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier brings a cool and refreshing breathing experience to your home. Micro-fine cool mist with a 360 nozzle ensures maximum coverage. The 0.72 gallon/2.75 L easy top fill tank provides up to 34 hours of runtime. Set the auto-off timer for up to 12 hours. A whisper- quiet design with an on/off night-light function allows for easy use at night. Diffuse your favorite essential oil with the essential oil tray and included pads. Clean Tank Technology helps protect the tank from mold and mildew. A demineralization cartridge is included to help prevent build-up from hard water. As a safety feature, the humidifier automatically shuts off when the tank is empty. Convenient remote control included. This two pack allows you to keep a comfortable humidity level in two rooms.

Multiple filling options is a nice feature. I appreciate the night light so I can check level at night. Very quiet. Appears to raise humidity level 10-15 % in my medium size bedroom. Rest of house 18-20 % currently, dead of winter. Bedroom 30-32 %.

Easy to use

Easy to use and set up. You just plug in and fill up, no real extra steps like some others. We use distilled water and go through around a gallon every two to three days on the low setting running at night. It helped a lot when our toddlers were sick. Very happy. We did have a problem and one didn’t work when they were initially delivered but customer service sent a replacement as soon as I called them. I would recommend checking both units immediately only because we had this issue.

This is a replacement for the exact same model so my review is of the old one that lasted about 3 years. It was used about 12 hours/day year round , so even all summer long. Very easy to clean. For myself, and as that being a hint for others, I would just say to follow the instructions very carefully on cleaning the transducer/ultrasonic membrane. I don’t believe I was careful enough or it may have lasted longer.
