I tried this replacement for Dutchmark Smoked Gouda a while back and it was horrible. Sam's sent me a coupon and said they adjusted the formula for the cheese so I decided to give it another try and it is greatly improved. Much smoother and creamier than the last time I tried and a better smokey flavor. Not as quite as good as Dutchmark was but I will buy this again. Thanks for listening to your customers Sam's Club and improving the recipe!

Not a strong smokey flavor but it's tasty for the price, it's pretty darn good.

This cheese is alright but not anything to rave about. Has some smokiness but has a weird taste. I've had much better gouda cheese than this.

This cheese has excellent texture, great taste, and good on sandwiches, hamburgers, vegetables, etc. We always have some on hand.

Best gouda cheese I have had in years. Freezes great so buy more than one, cut it up and put in freezer bags, and take out what you want.

Although inexpensive, this cheese has zero smoke flavor. 1st purchase and last. If you're looking for a true smoke gouda look further, this isn't it.
