I typically steer clear of razors with soap bars attached since they tend to get slimy & rust more quickly, however, I like that it is included in this razor for a close shave. It is cost effective and easy to find at local stores & the replacement blades are easy to attach.

You can replace the top and keep the handle. The gel provides enough lubricant so you do not cut yourself. Overall, close and safe shave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Gillette Venus blades since I was a teenager and was just starting out with shaving. I have always been able to count on Venus for a close, comfortable shave that protected my skin from nicks and cuts. Gillette has outdone themselves again with the Venus ComfortGlide Freesia Razor. Not only can I count on that close comfortable shave now I have been able to eliminate a complete step and that is shave gel. Now my legs and bikini area only has to be wet and the ComfortGlide blade provides and extremely close shave with little shave gel bars on either side on the blade making it sooo easy to shave and I don't have to worry about shaving gel rinsing down my legs. After using the ComfortGlide blade my legs and bikini area feel so soft and smooth and free of nicks and cuts. I couldn't be happier. Summer has arrived and I need to stock up on my Venus ComfortGlide Freesia blades for those long hot days that can only be comforted by the pool.

It leaves my skin feeling very smooth as if I had waxed it. I absolutely love the gel bar as it glides through seamlessly and it smells wonderful. Most importantly, it doesn't irritate my skin like others do. It is now my favorite go-to razor.

If you enjoy nicks and cuts while you shave, then this is the razor for you! The gooey pink film dissolves rather quickly, leaving you with a bare, sharp, triple-bladed weapon with which to carefully navigate the curves of your legs and armpits. The lifespan of the blades far outlasts the pink, cushy edges. These must have been cheap leftovers that other stores didn't want to buy. I will be looking for a men's five-blade razor, as the upcharge on women's products that do the same thing is ridiculous!

This handle has a nice grip to it so it won't flip out if your hand in the shower. I love the light purple color as well. The actual razor head moisturizes while removing hair. I get a nice close shave without my skin drying out. I also enjoy the pleasant floral aroma that permeates my shower when I use it.

It's not ideal for bikini and smaller areas since it's a big head, but it's great for my legs and goes over my knees and ankles really well without cutting. Gave a really smooth shave.

It's really nice having that extra bit of moisturizer to keep things smooth. It has a nice smell to it and the colors are always beautiful. Venus is and always will my go to razor.
