Michelin LXT M/S

I put Michelin LTX M/S tires on my van 30K miles ago and have been very pleased with them. The ride has been smoother and the van has handled better with cornering. It also handles better with the heavy rains. I chose Michelin because I wanted the best tires on the van to ensure the best protection for my family. Based on the performance of these tire I would give Michelin a 5-Star rating.

MICHELIN® Defender® LTX® M/S are the BEST!

I drive a Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Dually... 6 Tires... I am past the guaranteed 50,000 miles and will surpass the 70,000 miles guaranteed for normal passenger cars(smaller vehicles). I found excellent traction in almost all situations, and perfect tread wear(rotated every oil change). Buy these tires!

Best Tires Ever Purchased

I purchased the tires when I had 46,590 miles on the SUV. I now have over 98,800 miles on the unit. There is still quite a bit of tread on the tire, I have had no problems with the tires and would definitely would purchase the same tire again. I placed them on my Lincoln MKX

I purchased a used Ford ...

I purchased a used Ford Explorer 4x4 from a Ford dealer with a mis-matched set of tires. Knowing the vehicle was based on a truck platform, I still felt the highway ride should have felt better than what I was experiencing - loud tire whine, vibrations and a rough ride. I quickly replaced the OEM shocks which improved the ride somewhat, but it wasn't until I went to my Michelin dealer and he recommended the LTX M/S tires than I finally had the improvement I was looking for. After I replaced that mis-matched set of tires with the new Michelin LTX M/S's and drove it home, I thought my Explorer had been replaced with a look alike. I mean everything about the performance was dramatically improved! The ride was smooth with no tire whine and no more annoying vibration. It felt like the vehicle was finally gripping the road. And in the rain, it felt like I was riding on rails. Who knew tires would've made such a huge difference? I do now! I finally felt safe and secure, like I now had a vehicle that could take me anywhere. I'm a Michelin fan for life now! No other tires for me.

Awesome

We put in a lot of driving and what's most important is the smooth and quiet ride we receive from Michelin tires. The tires wear more evenly than most tires on the market. I have to say, the previous Michelin tires (same brand) gave us a longer life; same driving pleasure, but wore out sooner.

Snoothest Riding Tire Ever

The tires will grow on anyone who rides in your car. They perform in all conditions. People are amazed on how well they grip the road even in wet weather. I put this tire on all of my kids cars for years. My company I work for put them on all of their trucks. Out all of the years I have used Michelin, I have never had to use my spare tire. You will be amazed of the quiet comfort ride they provide.

Best tires in the market

Michelin tires are so reliable that my husband and I won't buy any other brand for our vehicles. They make the ride smooth and perform with excellence on wet roads. Here in Florida, the roads can turn treacherous at times due the so called "Florida ice", but we are confident our Michelin tires will always keep us safe. We recommend these tires for their quality, durability, and reliability. Thank you Michelin tires!!!!

Great Tires

I recently bought four LT-MX tires for my 2011 Honda Pilot. The Honda dealer and tire dealer recommended the Latitude tire due to its smooth ride, comfort, mileage, and low noise. However, my occasional driving requires more grip, so I chose the LT-MX. My decision was largely based upon †he positive comments made by previous owners of these tires for similar vehicles and types of driving. I noticed an immediate difference in the ride from the original factory tires. The ride was smooth, steady, and not noisy at all. I plan on getting another set, when these tires are no longer serviceable.

i bought these for wifes cadillac xt5 with 235/55/20's about 1000 miles on them, they seem louder, stiffer, than the Michelin Premiers that came with the vehicle??? are they desinged for larger vehicles or something? i have about a week left to exchange them for a different tire they seem to be a great tire but maybe for larger vehicles???

Last Set

Have had 7 LTX-MS2 tires replaced in the last year. Failures ranged from blowout at freeway speeds due to tread separation, sidewall puncture, tread penetration thru the belts by virtually anything. The 6th was a sudden sidewall failure and upon changing the tire noticed that the rip was about 4 inches long but the interesting part was the sidewall only had ONE belt--not two like printed on the tire. Previously ran 2 sets of Michelin tires over 100,000 miles each with NO failures.
