This used to be the best premade pumpkin pie out there. However, I bought one this year and it was dry and tasted like cardboard. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but my mom said the same thing about one she purchased three states away. It was so bad that I returned it. The lady at customer service said there had been a lot of complaints about the pumpkin pie, and that she personally had experienced the change in quality. She suspected maybe they changed the recipe from previous years. It's really disappointing because I always looked forward to Sam's pumpkin pie..

Bought this hoping to enjoy a big pumpkin pie. Had a slice and it was so bland. Too much milk, not enough pumpkin, not enough spices in their recipe . The crust was bland and not flaky. I threw it away and had to buy a replacement pie from another grocery store.

What Happened? They were excellent at one time. No more, never more. Was it the price increase in eggs that killed the taste and consistency? Probably. This tastes too sweet and fake. There is not much of a pumpkin taste either. I will be baking my own pies. I will skip the membership too.

this is the first pumpkinpir where the crust is thin, fully baked, and not raw on the bottom. i dont know if the one i bought is a fluke, but it is the best pie Sam's has ever sold. maybe a mistake nut a good one. this pie is theb one you can even eat ALL of t.

First thing, the price! Great price for such a large pie. I bought this so my husband and I could try it. It's a lot of pie for two people, but at this price it was worth the risk. This pie has great reviews. The filling is very good. Perfect spice. This is where this pie goes downhill for me. The crust is very thick and hard. I could barely get my fork through it. Most pumpkin pies, the crust is thin and becomes soft and one with the filling. Not this pie. It has a very hard crust and I will not buy this pie to share at family gatherings. Gave it 4 stars for the filling and price.

The pumpkin pie tasted like grandma’s homemade. Wonderful!
