nice to ok unit, refrigerator size is perfect, freezer size is ok, maybe a bit small, counter depth is just perfect. unit is quite, ice maker production is ok for us (two people). it lacks a light in the water/ice dispenser area. had i known how important this light is to see the filling of glasses etc. may have looked at other options. hoping samsung will consider a modification for this model.

2 years old and a freon leak. Not covered under 5 years parts and labor because excluded under sealed system? Makes no sense. Said will cover parts but Labor is big $. Plus now big service fee by its Samsung approved dealer? No urgency with a freon leak? Very disappointed

One of the coolest thing is the finger print resistance - you can hardly see any prints and it's so easy to wipe off. I enjoy the all around cooling and the in case ice maker. I made a big bowl of punch and needed lots of ice, it was so awesome when I just removed the in case ice maker and added the ice I needed. The adjustable shelves are awesome, just slide and adjust. I am also impressed with the amount of space this refrigerator has - the gallon sized door shelves. I give Samsung a thumbs up for a well organized and designed fridge.

The water dispenser has never stopped dripping. Compressor has stopped working after 21 months. Total piece of crap. I have never had such a poor refridgerator. The shelving is a really bad layout with no adjustments, there are two bins - one for fruit and one for veggies - and that is IT. I had to buy my own bins to organize.

Only downside is that shelving is fixed so I can't change height and some soda containers and other things can't be stood up unless I use the door shelves. Choose a bigger model if you have a larger family would be ny suggestion. Looks nice though and so far, no problems with it.

One of the coolest features is the mobile app notification if the door is left open. No more wondering if the door was closed tightly enough! I also appreciate the overall integration of Samsung appliances within the SmartThings mobile app. Highly recommended.

Its sleek and modern design fits perfectly in my kitchen and it's just the right size for our family of 5. Exterior is very easy to clean as well as the inside. It's perfect with the exception of 2 minor things, the ice maker and non adjustable shelves. The ice maker is a bit slow and does take a while to refill. The shelves are not adjustable so soda bottles only fit in one section. Other than these small items, this fridge is a definite recommend!

we have had this fridge for 14 months now and the ice maker has stopped working. did the self test, unplugged it, etc. self test passes, but no water is getting into the ice cube tray. the solenoid valve makes a buzzing instead of clicking sound, so it seems it is already defect. submitted for service, hopefully samsung can fix this under warranty

after the first one was retired, we bought this new one. it fits into our narrow, galley kitchen. for two retired people, it has space enough for our fresh food needs. the ice maker and water dispenser in the door are very much appreciated, especially in summer. temperature controls are easy to understand. the newly restyled door system eliminated the wide, sticking out handles on the older model. the stainless steel surface really does resist fingerprints.

The only problem is that it works too well, and some things in the back of the fridge sometimes freezes, even when it's at the highest temperature setting. So I just have to be mindful to put the items that freezes easily towards that front of the fridge shelves. I also wish I had gotten the bigger capacity fridge... next time for sure!
