Very nice and solid shelvlng unit. Easy to put together and lots of storage space. They could have included a fifth shelf for even more storage space if needed for smaller containers. The only thing extra I had to do was go out and get 2 sheets of hardboard to put over the wire grates of the shelves.The wire grates are so large containers tend to hang up on them when sliding on and off.

One beam was slightly bent, likely dropped as it requires two people to lift and only one gentleman was bringing it to me. I assisted him. Once I put it together, with a little hammering to get the side pieces in with the bent piece, it works very well and is worth the price and slight hassle.

This is an excellent, well built shelving unit. I bought one over a year ago and liked it so much I bought two more. I would have given it 5 stars but these last two I purchased were damaged in shipping and or handling by Sam's (picked it up myself in-store). It was still useable, which attests to it's solid construction, but was a bit of a pain to assemble since some of the components were bent.

The shelving unit was very easy to put together, with no tools required. The horizontal braces were made to go in either direction (left or right and facing up or down). This made it easier to put together than previous shelving units where you might have to undo some bracing if you weren't paying attention. Seems very sturdy and well made.

I purchased 2 of these shelves before. They were great. The third one was very difficult to assemble as the bars were warped. Probably dropped off a pallet and bit into rotation for people to purchase without a thought about damage. We struggled to put this together because it’s impossible to put the pieces back into the box after taking them out to return to the store.

Great shelves - bought 5 total...traveled over 300 miles to McKinney, TX to buy the first 2 in store when website said none were available for pickup/delivery or shipping. Decided to purchase more and website had shipping available, none in store, so bought and shipped 2 more. While shopping local Sam’s Club saw 4 boxed on the floor, bought one more. All are easy to assemble (one person), sturdy and durable. Placed in a 40 foot shipping container with room to spare and lots of shelf space.

Easy to assemble, even for one person. However, the rails can easily pop out of the slots when the unit is moved during assembly. The more expensive version of these racks have a plastic insert that you put in exposed portion of the slot above the rails that keep them from coming back up out of the slots. I drilled pilot holes at each overlap and installed a 1/2” self tapping metal screws to keep the main cross rails in place. Also you will need a step stool to insert the pins in the top cross members (unless you are realllly tall)

These shelves are heavy and sturdy for store a wide range of stuff. We got them to better organize our storage area. They were relatively easy to assemble. The shelf supports did take a bit of effort till we figured out what we needed to do to get the pegs inserted properly the 1st time then it was back to easy.

Over the last year or so the quality of products like shelving units has gone downhill unfortunately. They have changed the quality of materials and the coating on the metal making them a much less valuable product. It's unfortunate that they have decided to do the bare minimum to save a few cents. I would rather pay a couple extra dollars for a higher quality product.

We recently purchased five of these industrial storage racks to organize our holiday bins, tools and supplies on for the garage. We were thrilled with the quality and durability of these storage racks. We picked them up at Sam's and they were surprisingly easy to assemble. We were so pleased with them that we just purchased two more. Our garage never looked so tidy and organized.
