Poor wear.

I purchased 4 tires ( pilot sport a/s ) and currently have less than 20k on them. Though I'm happy with the traction the tread life is extremely poor. The wife drives very passively and was able to wear them down to the bone. The warranty was not honored because the tires were only rotated once.

Didn't last long at all

Wife and I have 3 cars and work from home. I mostly drive my Tacoma and she primarily drives our Lexus RX. Our 3rd car for very occasional local use is a 92 Lexus SC400. Today I took it in for an annual inspection and the treads are just about gone so we have to get replacements. I looked at my scanned receipts I always keep and we bought these tires in January of 2016. We don't take this car on long trips - just around town. It's one of these fair weather cars and we don't take it out of it's raining or snowing. We barely got 9000 miles on these ! Very disappointed. We also keep this car aligned. Quiet tire for sure but I'd rather have a lo

Mercedes S500 2002, Sport

I bought the Michelin Pilot A/S Sport 3 in March of 2015 for the rear of the S500 Sport Pkg with 212843 miles. The ride at first was very smooth and comfortable (that's the reason I have stayed with Michelin) but @ 219183 miles the rears are bald, rough riding & cupping - tire centers will not balance the tires saying they are to far gone. I am in Southern Ca. I am extremely disappointed with Michelin for this product, Michelin has been my tire of choice for decades but this speaks to quality- I hope to hear from Michelin - again excellent initial tire for this car but the mileage is horrible. I hope Michelin can correct this issue. Unhappy

Great A/S performance - reasonable price

After researching both summer and all season performance tires, I opted to go with the Pilot Sport A/S 3 because of the stellar reviews - from tire professionals and regular drivers. The tire has given great dry traction - even better than the summer dry it replaced!

Very impressive

Let me start by saying the ride I now get with my Dodge Challenger SRT8 is nothing short of fantastic. Smoothness is the name of the game and that is what I now have. I'm impressed by the technology that has gone into the development of these Pilot Sport A/S 3. Now if I only get the mileage that you all have rated the tire for, then I'll be extremely happy and ready for another set.

A Great 3.5-Season Tire

Replaced OEM summer tires on my BMW. I was looking for something with a longer tread life and better grip that the OEM run flats. I haven't had these for more than 500 miles so far, but already they out-perform the OEM summer tires even in the dry and stay very grippy in the wet and sub-freezing temperatures I've seen in Cleveland this December. They were only so-so in light snow though and I ended up going back to my usual winter setup for the next few months. I would not recommend the A/S 3 for use in snow, at least on a RWD car, but it is capable in a pinch if you're in an area that doesn't frequently see snow. Just expect to accelerate very slowly and breaking distances were much longer than dedicated winter tires. I'm looking forward to the longer tread life as both sets of my summer tires averaged 12,000 miles before they were worn out.

I have compared!

I drove a Nissan Maxima 2011 and had always ran BF's until my tire shop recommended the Pilot based on my driving habits. Well it was like a new car the way it handled especially in the rain. I went out the same week and put Michelin's on my wife's Ford Escape and she even noticed the difference. Great tire. I just bought a 2016 Nissan Maxima an what a fun car it drive except for 4 things, the tires! They have Continentals and what horrible tires, slips in rain and spins easily and just no confidence. Hard to get rid of new tires but the minute I can afford it she will get new Michelin Pilots so I can drive this car to capabilities. Good job

Long lasting and sporty 60,700 miles

Car 2013 Lexus GS350 RWD Bought the Pilot A/S 3's when the car had 41,300 miles, Just replaced them at 102,031 Miles. WOW...! I drive 55-60K miles/yr mostly on the interstate in the South and I'm not a hard driver, but from time to time I like to drop the hammer on the GS when I get on a windy country road or up in the Smokey Mountains. I've also do a little Autocrossing and the car is a hoot to drive hard. My gas mileage is right at 29 MPG with about 85% highway miles and I average 74 MPH on the interstate. I do hear a bit of road noise, but it's OK for a sports sedan, even a Lexus. I balance them regularly and align them if needed.

Smooth and quiet

Immediately noticed the quietness and smooth ride. Time will tell how they wear but I average 60,000 miles a year, so it may not take long, based on the warranty. But I have seldom been disappointed with Michelin products. I've always worn my original equipment out but always replaced them with Michelin products.

Best Ride So far

I'm very happy with these tires. My suspension is relatively stiff. This has been the most comfortable performance A/S tire I've had on the car. In warm dry conditions spirited runs through Willow Springs Raceway approximates an average performance summer street tire. In the rain stopping and cornering is excellent. Best performance rain tire I've had on the car so far.
