Outstanding Tire

Replaced OEM runflats on my Mini S. The improvement in ride and handling was dramatic. It would have been hard to convince me that the Mini could handle any better than it already did but these tires hold like they are glued to the road. Wet handling is also outstanding. There has also been a significant improvement in ride quality. The OEM tires (high-end name brand) were harsh at best. These tires although firm to not transmit nearly as much shock through the car. They were difficult to find but well worth the effort.

Smooth and quiet

Immediately noticed the quietness and smooth ride. Time will tell how they wear but I average 60,000 miles a year, so it may not take long, based on the warranty. But I have seldom been disappointed with Michelin products. I've always worn my original equipment out but always replaced them with Michelin products.

Excellent Tires

I've been using different brand of Tires on my 2011 Shelby GT500 and those were my third set. Those Tires were making annoying humming noise, and the ride was really rough even Ford mechanic thought there was a bearing issue with the car, but once I consulted another mechanic, he said the Tires were the issue. So I decided to go for Michelin's A/S Tires (19" for front - 20"s for the back) and I immediately noticed that the noise was completely gone and the ride is definitely improved. What I like also about those Michelin Tires is the 45,000 miles warranty comparing to the other brand of 20,000 miles warranty. Really, they are amazing Tires and I recommend them to anyone driving a Muscle car. GREAT Tires... Thank you

Extremely Noisey Tire

Had the dealer put these tires on my 2012 Buick Regal GS after the stock summer performance tires had worn down. Pros: Great grip, good handling, and very nice on wet roads. Cons: SO NOISEY! I've got less than 4,000 miles on them and am going have the dealer take them back. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but I literally cannot stand to be inside my car @35 mph, @ 50 mph or @70 mph. I was hoping after the first couple hundred miles the noise would go away or at least subside, but alas, it has not. My wife refuses to ride in the car on long road trips because the growl/howl of these tires is annoying. I turn my radio up so loud in an attempt to drown out the noise. I am on the fence on whether or not I will get these replaced with another set of A/S 3's (assuming the 4 I got are a bad batch), or try something else. I've always known Michelin to be a great tire as my parents had them on the majority of the Cadillac's they owned without any issue. I gave the comfort portion a "Below Average" grade because riding in the car is far from comfortable. Hopefully the next set isn't as awful...

It's like riding on a cloud!

I purchased a 2005 Crossfire from an auction almost 4 years ago. It had sluggish handling and a rough ride. I was concerned about the right front tire and thought it was brake issue. However, when my mechanic checked, he called and said "It's the tires." He recommended the Pilot Sport A/S 3. I thought I was driving a brand new car. The handling was superb, the road noise was minimal and it was like driving on cloud. I love the tires and would buy another set if needed.

Hands down the worst tires I've ever owned vehicle

Rears on a staggered set lasted a little over 12,000 miles. Normal everday driving, no burnouts, racing, or anything crazy. Now a front has developed a bubble in the sidewall. If I replaced it with another then I would've bought five of these over the course of about 15,000 miles. Not gonna happen. I'll be buying an entire set of non-Michelins tomorrow.

Wow, very impressed

Just got these installed today and wow, I can really tell a difference. Purchased them for a 2008 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring and the ride is very smooth. It was raining when I left the tire store and these wide tires have plenty of rubber to grab the road. I really felt safe in the rain. I still can't get over how smooth the ride was. The A/S 3's are a must for a sports car. Very impressed!

Worst Michelin Tires in 32 Years!!

Since 1983, I've exclusively purchased Michelin tires which, until now, never disappointed me. Although the Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires handle well, they've significantly reduced my Honda Civic's gas mileage by 10-12%. The drop in mileage began immediately after these tires were installed. I keep my vehicle in top mechanical shape and ensure that all maintenance schedules are followed, so there is no doubt that the drop in mileage is due to these new tires. My original tire choice was the Primacy MXM4 205/55R16 tires. Unfortunately, Michelin had no inventory available for many months. Just my luck, because the Primacy MXM4's are now available!

Great tire if it lasted

I love Michelin tires and when I got my new Audi A6 in 2014 I pulled the stock tires and out these on as they had great reviews and I always felt Michelin tires are superior. Well, these tires ride and handle great and are quiet. I was shocked when I was in for an oil change at 14,100 miles and they told me I need tires soon. 4/32 on two tires and 5/32 on the other two, what? I had pure summer tires that held up better than these. Also, had a competitors UHP A/S uni-directional tires that cost half as much that lasted far longer than these. Considering the Michelin price premium I will be replacing these with anothe brand soon. If you do not mix them wearing out early then these are great tires, otherwise find something else.

Now, these are nice tires!

I've got a 2003 BMW Performance ZHP 330i with factory staggered 18" wheels, and I've been running the Michelin A/S2 tires. Since I can't rotate them, I'll run 2 sets on the rear to 1 set on the front. I was very pleased with these tires and have a video of me driving through 10" of new snow with the front scoop pushing snow over the hood! Only a 2-wheel drive car! Now, I've just bought a set of AS3 tires, and I really like them. They seem quieter than the AS2s and handle just amazing. And for a low-profile tire (255/35-18) they are very comfortable riding. My goal is to have 1 set of tires that I can run in all 4 seasons, here in Colorado. The AS3s are going to fit that bill nicely. So far, I've only been able to test them on dry interstate, and hardpack snow/ice on side roads. Amazing traction! There really is no reason to run dedicated snow tires as these will take me through anything my car can reasonable drive through. A good test of all driving conditions is from I-70, then Hwy40 to Winter Park, which takes you through many switchbacks, over Berthoud Pass. Patchy ice/snow and dry roads, sharp corners, and downhill braking test all the capabilities of these new AS3s. They really do work that well! Thanks, Michelin!
