I had these once before. They don't have the cool tread in the middle any more in this new version, but they handle as well. They stick to the road like glue. I love to drive and driving curvy mountain roads is a joy with these tires. The only down side is that the mileage expectancy is a little lower than what I usually hope for. These are expensive, but worth it to me to feel safe and know I can drive the mountains with no worries. They are a tad noisier than the primacy tires I had the last go around. Overall I love them.

I had these on my 2008 Audi A4 for 38,000 miles. I'm happy with the mileage given how abusive I was with the tires. Road noise fine until the final 5000 miles. Grip was amazing and supplied far more then my A4 could extract. Braking was the same, just outstanding. I'm in the process of buying a new set this week.

These Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires are supposedly "Ultra High Performance All Season" but are barely usable on anything but the nicest of summer days. When it is wet, cold, snowy or any weather condition OTHER than perfectly nice and sunny, these poor tires slide all over the place. They have the worst traction in cold than any tire I've ever owned, and by "cold" I mean anything under Fifty Degrees Fahrenheit. That is truly pathetic. Trying to accelerate onto a freeway is a tricky and DANGEROUS proposition for these UHP tires, the back end of my car slides all over the place and just cannot get a grip. Horrid tires, buy ANYTHING else.

Purchased tires after reading all the websites and they sounded perfect. They did do a great job through the winter, but after 10k two tire need replaced, and 4k later the other two. Car was aligned at purchase, and tire were rotated at the next oil change. I wish I could say my wife races ever weekend, but just back and forth to work. The OEM tires made to 40k.

Wife and I have 3 cars and work from home. I mostly drive my Tacoma and she primarily drives our Lexus RX. Our 3rd car for very occasional local use is a 92 Lexus SC400. Today I took it in for an annual inspection and the treads are just about gone so we have to get replacements. I looked at my scanned receipts I always keep and we bought these tires in January of 2016. We don't take this car on long trips - just around town. Purchased the Pilot Sport A/S 3 for my Saab Aero Anniversary Editon convertible. Previous tires were not Michelin's and had cupping and the cord was being exposed. Researched many tire options and decided to go with the Michelin's. The first and most obvious difference was reduction of road noise followed by a very smooth ride. Traction on dry roads is as excellent as I expected from an ultra performance tire. Still waiting for some wet weather to test these tires otherwise my rating would be a solid 5. So far, very pleased with the purchase, driving is fun again.

Autoweek advisors tested the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's on a dry autocross course beating out top performance summer tires with more dry grip. The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's also tested quicker than competitive tires and the best for wet and dry braking distances.

I had the AS3 installed on my VW Jetta TDI. What a difference these tire make compared to the set that were on the car when I bought it. Significant road noise reduction and a smoother ride, without a doubt. Extremely happy with my purchase. When the tires need to be replaced on my wife's vehicle, I'll be looking at Michelin again.

Switched from original run flats on my BMW Series 3 sport coupe to these new A/S 3 Pilots. I had read many positive reviews and find these tires live up to all the accolades. Quiet and smooth with incredible grip and performance. Love 'em! It's like having a "better" BMW!
