Fantastic Tires!

Used these tires to replace my Nero Zero's on my 2009 Mazdaspeed3. The Michelin's are significantly better in all areas. They are much quieter, handling and turn-in is sharper, and overall ride quality is a vast improvement over the Nero's. I'm a very happy customer!

Louder than expected, worse gas mileage

I had these tires installed on my Audi A6 4.2 and they are a lot noisier than the other tires I have had on this car. The gas mileage is also a lot worse than my previous Michelins. My cabin used to be super quiet and now I hear a loud buzzing noise coming from the front tires.

"What Me Worry"

"What ME Worry" Are you aware as you cruse thru traffic your car only has the size of a piece of typing paper of traction on the road? Where does this come from? If you answered ... your tires, your right. But you can be Dead right if you do not use the right tires for your car! I have used nothing but Michelin tires on my cars. Why? I love my family and want to do everything I can do to protect them. How do you feel about all who ride in your car? Do you know that overinflated, underinflated, and low tread depth will cause pre mature tire ware and tire failure? If you said NO, then you need to check out your local Michelin Dealer, they will not only put the right tire on you car, and with regular maintance, I have gotten 60,000 miles out of a set of my Michelins. My Michelin dealer keeps me from worrying about my tires! I hope you will try a set of Michelins, and be worry free like me! I have three different Michelins sets and I can recommend these to anyone! O-by the way my three daughters are on there own now; and are a 2nd generation of Michelin users.

Long lasting and sporty 60,700 miles

Car 2013 Lexus GS350 RWD Bought the Pilot A/S 3's when the car had 41,300 miles, Just replaced them at 102,031 Miles. WOW...! I drive 55-60K miles/yr mostly on the interstate in the South and I'm not a hard driver, but from time to time I like to drop the hammer on the GS when I get on a windy country road or up in the Smokey Mountains. I've also do a little Autocrossing and the car is a hoot to drive hard. My gas mileage is right at 29 MPG with about 85% highway miles and I average 74 MPH on the interstate. I do hear a bit of road noise, but it's OK for a sports sedan, even a Lexus. I balance them regularly and align them if needed.

Yes, these tires are awesome.

I replaced the stock Pirelli tires on my Mustang GT, with the AS-3's, based on reviews that I had read. I also went with wider, staggered wheels, 245's in the front and 285's in the back, on 18 inch rims. The ride quality and ultimate grip in wet or dry conditions is incredible. I am currently replacing the rears with the same tire, although the fronts have, obviously, lasted longer. The rears lasted approximately 60000 km under hard driving conditions, purely in the Canadian summer months. This is an excellent tire based on my experience.

A/S 3: A true allseason performance tire

I have a 2014 MINI Roadster S. I have been driving since 1962 and autocrossing with success since 1995. I have driven on extreme performance tires, r-compound tires, and racing slicks, both dry and wet. Yesterday I brought home a set of 205/50-16 A/S 3's in the rain. Today it rained harder and I found the standing water puddle on my most driven back road. I heard the right front tire violently cutting through the water at 60 mph but it didn't even tug on the tire nor slow the car as that friendly puddle has always done before. The steering is light. Partly due to 10.5mm of tread and partly due to surprisingly low rolling resistance. Turn in is immediate. Well, surely there must be an actual delay but it is too small for me to perceive. Grip is somewhere well beyond the level I am willing to risk on a public road. They simply track no matter how fast I dare corner with them at gendarme and bad karma attracting speeds. For reference, the car on OEM tires understeered if I tried to have much of any fun cornering. That is, the tires lost grip and the car ran wide which is especially unnerving in a right hand turn with oncoming traffic. These are serious performance tires oh so well suited to a MINI driven in all weathers except snow blizzards and subzero temperatures.

Best tires in their class

These tires are great and probably the best wet tradition I have ever had. Overall they are fairly good tires, they start out very quite and very grippy, maybe too grippy if that is real? I saw too grippy because it makes small cars a little squirmy because of the instant bite of traction. I was able to get around 40k miles on my last pair with aggressive driving and long commutes. Like I said though the wet traction is unmatched. The car originally came with Perrelli's and although they had good dry track were poor in rain and tire life was about the same or less. All in all highly recommend these tires, can't go wrong with Michelin's.

Awesome Handling Tire

These tires are the best handling tires I've ever tried. They are quiet, smooth and hug the curves. I have them on my Toyota Celica GTS and love them. I read other reviews where people slammed these tires because they did not handle well in the snow. I am sorry but who looks at these tires, a sport tire, and thinks they will be good in snow? That's what dedicated winter tires are for!

Everything I'd expected, once again!

The tires were bought to upgrade the overall performance of my 2010 Bentley Speed. The 'bespoke' tires have been surpassed technologically by the AS3's, and I wanted the added value of a tire that lasts, a nice change from competitors effots. Combine bad weather grip, great ride and superior ride and handling . . . how can you loose? I drive twisty, wet two lane roads every day and the security these tires deliver can be felt though the wheel; awsome! 40 years of experience with Michelin has always been good for me, make the change, you'll never regret it.

Awesome!!!

Michelin has always been in the family and seeing how they came up with the Pilot Sport A/S 3's just made it better to stay with Michelin tires. I switched my RFT and I'm going on a couple of thousand miles now. So far the ride is 100 times better! I have a luxury car and I went from feeling like I was off roading to having a nice smooth ride. Curse those RFT! Luckily, my old RFT came with the car and I didn't spend twice I would of if I did get the RFT again. We do a lot of driving since family is far and coming home the ride is so smooth that when my family is asleep they don't even notice all the bumps and road noise. The new A/S 3s are a better ride, the handling is great, the road noise is not an issue anymore and I do save more gas than I did before. The look of the tires are great and the feel is what I was looking for. Overall, I would put the A/S 3s again once I'm up for new tires again unless they come up with A/S 4s which would be great. Thanks Michelin team! Keep up the good work! I love the new tires!
