Bought this model in July 2021. Compressor quit May 2022. Fern at NewAir said she'd send us a replacement (850AB) but we had to send the original one back. We used the replacement box and a prepaid label from FedEx, and plugged in the replacement. Five hours later the temp never got below 50°. Now we're waiting to hear back from management about a refund. We went through proper channels, managed to get a heavy fridge out of a box, the first one in the box and dropped off for pick up. This model must be defective, and we've decided not to give NewAir another opportunity to send us another defective fridge. I have to say that Fern has been helpful, but NewAir needs to make this right immediately.

We have this for our kids in the pool table room. Love it and it worked great up until it didn't. Customer service was very quick to respond (even prompting me to respond quicker to them) and solve my problem, sending me the replacement part. All businesses should take a lesson. Thank you, Newair!

I love this fridge for storing drinks in our kitchen, and it looks good too. It did break about 10 months after purchase, so it was still within manufacturer warranty period, and the customer service was exceptional when trying to fix the problem. They first suggested a simple fix with a replacement part that they sent. After that didn't work, they just sent us a new fridge to replace the broken one (which we sent back with prepaid shipping). Thank you to the customer service team!

This fridge was a great unit up until about a week ago when we noticed that it did not cool anymore. I read that there was a 1 year manufacturer warranty so I contacted Newair and Melissa was happy to help with the issue. She gave us instructions on some things to try and when those did not work she then put in for a replacement unit for us. I don't know if it's a desert dweller thing, or we're just thirsty, but our refrigerator is always PACKED TO THE GILLS with drinks. All those beverages take up about 50% of the space; there's no room for food! So we really wanted a separate beverage fridge, to help lighten the load. Thing is, we only have a teeny tiny space in the cabinets to install it. The only model that would have any hope of fitting is the AB-850. It is meant as a standalone, but with some mods to allow for proper ventilation (space in the rear, air holes in the interior walls of the cabinet, and an exhaust fan) we were able to make it work as a built-in. However, it does have trouble maintaining temperature. The lowest we can get it down to is 40F, at the highest setting, and it often rises up to 45 or 50 degrees. The only way we have found to get it down again, it to dial the setting down, and then turn it back up again. It's as if the compressor forgets to turn on, so we have to nudge it. We had the same issues, when before we installed it, when it was just sitting in the middle of the floor, so it's not an air circulation issue. Some more flexibility with the shelf placement would be nice too. We removed one shelf, and the bottom rack entirely, so that format suited out needs. In total, it's a bit finicky, but the compact, and looks really nice. The light is a nice touch too. We use it as a nightlight in the kitchen. And of course, all the space we now have in our full size fridge is pretty amazing.

Purchased in May 2020 for my home studio. Quiet operation. Strongly recommend having plastic tray under unit in case door is left ajar causing condensation to form and leak onto floor which could cause damage. Capacity specs assume tightly packed containers which will reduce air flow and compromise cooling capability, so assume roughly half of maximum capacity for practical use. My unit's interior lamp began flashing in bursts of three which is a trouble code for a failed temperature sensor. Despite being out of warranty by nearly four months, I emailed support@neeair.com, and in just a few hours Newair Support graciously offered to ship me the part free of charge if I wrote a review here. I was planning to do so anyway, so win-win. I reversed door so that its hinges are now on right side, but note that caused logo plate to be upside down. I cut it off with utility knife cutting through adhesive tape and remounted it right side up. Looking forward to having new temperature sensor so I can enjoy cold beverages again.

We love this unit for our reception rooms for our patients. Looks great and works well! We have one at each of our locations. Also, their customer service/ support has been super easy to get a hold of and to get a response. We are super happy with it all!!

We moved to a new home after I retired and I now have a man cave. Even though I am only 40 feet from the kitchen it's so much more convenient to grab a gatorade or a beer from my mini-fridge, it fits great in a smaller space and looks great - especially with my team magnetic decals on it. Perfect size and works great!

So happy with the customer service! They were incredibly quick to answer my question about the fridge bc I couldn't figure out a piece that fell out upon arrival. They notated on a picture I sent them so I would easily understand. Thankful for their quick responses and patience with my questions!

Nowadays, I have been very addicted to Perrier. For us, it has been a great help in keeping our main refrigerator clear of those large Perrier bottles. Also, we have a number of gatherings coming up �_�_̱ a mommy party, a birthday and a large-scale BBQ for labor day. Instead of placing ugly coolers all around the yard, the beverage cooler is very easy to move around. We bring the cooler outside, plug it in and load it up with drinks. It�_�_��s an easy and sophisticated way of keeping my libations cold and guests happy. The secret to getting ice-cold beverages is the adjustable temperature control on the top. It�_�_��s so easy to operate. It�_�_��s truly plug-and-play! Just plug it in, turn it on, and adjust the temperature dial right on top. There are 7 settings so that you get the right chill for you! The light-blue top light stays on for easy pickings day or night. We love our beverage cooler. It's nice not having to take up room in our main fridge, and we still have beverages ice cold - no ice needed!
