Expensive furniture, cheap quality
We bought this couch about 5 months ago. After a couple weeks into owning it, the back support in one of the recliners snapped in half. I contacted the manufacturer about this and my request fell on deaf ears, therefore I had to install a new piece of wood, which now makes it uncomfortable. The chaise back piece makes a loud cracking sound, which sounds like it’s about to break in half as well, so we don’t sit in that for fear of it breaking. Just recently, the steel pull-cable for one of the recliners breaking apart and the handle is now hanging on by a thread, literally. We should’ve saved our money and put it towards a more rigid, higher quality couch.

Poor quality
We purchased this sectional in October 2016. While it was nice looking and comfortable at that time, after only 2 years the "leather" material started peeling off in some areas. At this point, almost all of the sectional has bare areas, especially along the seams on the seats and on the headrests of the recliners. While I understand that some wear with regular use is to be expected, I feel that this level is unacceptable for a nearly $2000 piece of furniture. I've had $300 sectionals from discount stores that held up better than this. Very disappointed in the poor quality!
LOVE it except we have an open floor plan...
We installed our sectional in our new home yesterday and love everything about it...except one problem. We have an open floor plan and so all sides show. On the back side, on the bottom, there is black felt like paper backing to cover the inside wood and that would be fine! But the "Abbyson" name is stamped all over it in WHITE letters and it shows very badly. We've tried to think of something to cover it up with but so far haven't come up with any ideas. Other than that, very nice sectional!
Non-Existent Customer Service
We purchased this sectional in November of 2022. We finally received it on 1/28/2023. We were told we would receive a $75 Sam's Club gift card if we didn't cancel our order due to the manufacturing delay. I've emailed several times and have yet to hear back on when we'll receive it. They haven't even acknowledged my emails. The delivery was ok, with the exception of the delivery employees who didn't seem to care that they wore their wet and snowy shoes in our house. The sectional arrived with a cracked tray inside the cup holder/storage piece (it seems the screws were screwed too tight, not the fault of the delivery service). I emailed the manufacturer and Sam's Club immediately to find out how this would be resolved and 3.5 weeks have gone by now with no reply. The sectional is very large. Make sure you measure your space to ensure it will fit well.

Bought it for $1000 off. Now I know why...
I bought this item on 7/17/20. Less than a week later, the decorative seams tore near the recline handle on one seat. Sams said they'd send someone to fix it. I said they couldn't due to covid, unless they fix it in the drive way or take the cushion with them. I did not hear back. Then, a few weeks later, the seam tore again. Now, it is torn in a second spot, and they have not contacted me again. Aside from the decorative tan colored seams tearing very easily, the backs of the sofa fit into place by cheap metal brackets that simply slide over metal brackets that stick out of the bottom cushions. They fit loosely, at best. If you gentle push against the back of the sofa, to move it away from the wall, etc. you can feel the play in every piece. The brackets that connect each seat together, are small metal brackets on one cushion, then the adjoining cushion has two metal posts that stick out, and marry into the brackets. The brackets were bent on some of the pieces, so I really struggled getting them together. Once together, each section still moves slightly apart from the rest of the sofa. Imagine tryign to take a bunch of chairs together, and expect them to feel sturdy and structurally sound - that is what this feels like. The two pieces that recline....it takes an act of God to get them to recline. You have to push with your feet, and arch your back to get the sofa to recline and the foot rest to pop up on both sections - so I know it isn't just one messed up section. The arm rests, and the cup holder arm rest have VERY little cushion. Once you rest there any amount of time, your arm automatically starts to hurt due to the hard materiel inside the sofa, under the small amount of cushion material. The good features: The sofa is light and very large. There are six of us. We rarely sit at it because of our family schedules but it fits six adults very well. The size is AMAZING. I am so sad that I have to return it, because I am not spending $1699 on a sofa that is repeatedly wearing out less than three months of ownership, with minimal use. If Sam's does not do the return in accordance with the one year warranty, I will simply do a charge back. God bless.

Disappointed
It looks great and is comfortable. However, the 4th day we had it the reclining mechanism broke in the end recliner. I am very disappointed as is this was a big purchase that we have been saving for and looking forward to for a long time. I have not yet contacted the manufacturer because we are in the process of moving. I am not sure how the process will go but I am hoping for a good result and will update when this issue is resolved. Besides the reclining mechanism breaking, the sectional looks good and sturdy.

poor quality indeed
I 100% agree with some of the poor reviews on here. This piece was the worst furniture purchase I have also ever made. The peeling off of the material after only 18 months is accurate. What a mess of a decision this was. Embarrassing yes to have anyone see this couch. We both work 40+ hours and barely ever sit on it and it’s deteriorating DONT RECOMMEND THIS

great purchase
I received the couch a week ago and it's actually a lot bigger than I thought it was! The people who delivered it were very nice and set up the couch and took the boxes away for us. I was surprised with the quality being so good for the cost of the couch. Very happy with this purchase!
Greetings! Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the Carrington Sectional by Abbyson. We value your feedback and are pleased to hear you are happy with this new addition! We hope you decide to purchase #Abbyson again in the future. Sincerely, Ashley

Disappointed seating confort!
I bought this sectional after seeing it online, I’ve been looking for a sectional for some time now and this appears to meet my criteria, it looked good. Unfortunately the seating is very uncomfortable, the back is high and has plenty of cushion, but the seating part is completely opposite! Since the backs of the sofa and the seating are not attached.. the seating part lacks any cushion and is not supportive enough, so you tend to sink in the only support is on your legs and causes discomfort due to rigid es of the board supporting the front of the seat. You end up sunk in on the but the back cushions pushes you forward and tent to end up in the featile position sitting down!! Very uncomfortable!! This review doesn’t allow area to comment on the delivery part but I will include my experience. The trucking company making deliveries was an absolute disappointment, drivers were unprofessional, although I had provided them a clear area on my concrete front patio to open up the boxes, they kep on walking on the grass which was completely soaked due to several days of rain they were tracking mud inside and although I layer down towel and runner they still muddied up my carpet and they were not cautious at all, their work boots were soaked and muddied and took no precaution on trying not to make a mess, absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional, I’m sure it was the cheap cost which have them the job but it will cost the store in the long run!
Poor quality, falling apart after only 18 months
I bought this 18 months ago and this is the worst piece of furniture I've ever owned. Its absolutely ridiculous how bad this sectional looks after only 18 months! One of the recliners won't open and close properly. The chaise back won't come back up so its always reclining. The material of the couch is peeling in large pieces. Console center lid is broken. It was a waste of money! It's embarrassing to have guests over when my furniture looks like this! Low quality and overpriced. I do not recommend this item to anyone.
