Purchased just short of ripe. Refrigidated and two days later Pears were ripeand reay to consume, so i did over the next few days. very tasty.

These pears tasted wonderful but they ripened so fast even though they were kept in the refrigerator.

Sam's Club Bartlett pears were very tasty. They had been ripened to perfection and were sweet and juicy, reminding me of the heirloom pears with which my Aunts made pear honey years ago. Hope my next purchase of them is just as satisfying.

Over ripe. They were super soft by day 2. It’s second time it’s happened because I ordered curbside. The people picking it could care less and it shows. 3rd straight time my curbside didn’t choose properly.

I ordered mine delivered, so when they picked a fresh one, they are green and tasty. However, I often receive a box of yellowish, “matured” ones, and those doesn’t last a day before turning brown. So I recommend picking these up instead of getting them delivered.

Way over ripe and flavorless. Usually, the fruit from Sam's is slightly under ripe and it takes a couple of days for them to reach peak flavor, but these were already past yellow and turned brown in days. They also were not sweet, which Bartlets usually are, and had barely any flavor. Cleary a bad batch which is sad as Bartlets are only available for a few weeks.

I think these pears are some of the best I have ever eaten. Now that is saying a lot for an octogenarian. I thought that the price of the 4-lb box of US #1 Bartlett pears Dated Nov 08, 2023, distributed by the Reinier Fruit Co., was fair ($7.68/box or ~77¢/pear) compared to some other stores. What a surprise to have 10 almost perfect pears, sweet and dripping with juice. We enjoyed them plain and with a bit of cheddar cheese. Didn't cook with them as pears this good should be enjoyed on their own. I would buy them again in a heart beat in the hopes that if and when they are offered the next box measures up.

Delicious and juicy and very flavorful. I usually steam half of them while they're firm for my toddler, they taste like poached pears when steamed without the added sugar. The other half rippen on the counter and we eat them as is. They're better than the Harry and David pears that my family sends us every Christmas.

All of the pears were firm and nice looking. When I cut open the first one it was fine and nearly ripe. The rest were a 50/50 chance of being okay or having a brown rotten core. This was true even though the outsides still looked okay. I could not tell from the outside of the pear or squeezing it if it was going to be a good one or a bad one. I cut them all open. On those which were rotted, the rot itself had spread to about 2/3 of the flesh which made them unusable. We ended up throwing about half of the pears away due to the rot. I would not recommend this product.

Look great so I purchased they were very hard not a problem waited a day to eat and they felt perfect one bite did taste good the second No Brown inside cut them all in half and see picture of brown inside All were about one bite size and then mushy and brown
