Clementine Mandarins are tasty, juicy little oranges that meet the needs of kids and elderly. They are full of vitamin C and other nutrients that keeps us healthy during the winter months. They are fun to eat so the kids love them. They disappeared out of the bowl in no time.

I've purchased these on multiple occasions. Always in good shape, fresh, last a long time after being purchased. But, sometimes these are clementines, and sometimes they are tangerines. Both are a type of mandarin, so they aren't misclassified. But a tangerine is not what I'm expecting when I buy 'cuties,' so buyer beware.

While 40% more expensive per pound than the non-club grocers, these mandarins are the ONLY mandarins I have found that were not picked while still green. Produce managers need to be knowledgeable about how to select citrus fruits. Citrus fruit DOES NOT ripen once it has been picked. Unripe citrus is NOT edible. In fact hog growers will tell you that unsold/uneaten unripe citrus isn’t even bought for or eaten by hogs.

Clementine mandarins are really “Good stuff”. I went to last week to check and want to purchase more, there was none to be had, I thought maybe out of season, but hoping and looking forward for it to come back soon. Great source for vitamin C and very juicy.Thank you!

The few that I ate were delightful. They were some of the sweetest ones I’ve had. However, when I went back for another bag, I saw a few bags in the store that already had moldy oranges. I picked out two bags that didn’t appear to have any mold in the bags. The next day, after eating a couple, there’s a moldy orange in the middle of the opened bag. I checked the other bag, there were a couple moldy oranges in that one as well. I had to throw both bags out. Sadly a waste of money.

Flavor and quality varies with the season. I usually like these because they are easy to peel. This last bag was not. The flavor was OK but not as sweet as previoius. I have to buy them and open the bag to see what their quality is so it is always a gamble. Sometimes Sam's offers samples. That helps.

I work for the City of Oklahoma Citu and ordered 5 bags to hand out to our Streets crews who’d been working outside all day in 100 degree heat but had to throw away the majority of them. They were rotten, very soft and some looked like they had been cut into. Waste of my money and disappointing

90% edible! I have almost given up on buying oranges due to the high price and likelihood of getting orange jerky. And orange jerky is irritating because I’ve spent about $1 and time to peel the dang thing and then it is horrible. Clementines seem to be more consistently good. Stop freezing the oranges!

A perfect snack or side with lunches for kids. It packs easily for school lunches or snacks for the athletes in the family. I almost always keep Clementine Oranges on hand and this larger bag serves my purpose with 7 kids. A great way to promote healthy snacking habits as well.

I usually buy navel oranges but the club was offering samples of these clementines so I bought them instead. They are tarter than navels and still seedless but when I find a good batch of navel oranges they are sweeter and easier to eat, just as messy, though.
