Always fresh

This lettuce is light as a feather now. It continually goes up in cost and hearts are barely anything. This used to be the best value around. It’s really not with the price now because you hardly have anything

We buy this product regularly. 1-2x a month. This batch and the last were so bitter. Unknown if the processing changed or if there is a reason for the significant change in taste.

These Romaine lettuce hearts are pretty good. They seem to last a long time in the refrigerator. I recommend separating one or two out into a different bag for convenience. The price is extremely good, but I actually wish it wasn't this cheap, because that means the laborers who bring this to us aren't being paid enough for their very hard work.

We love this lettuce!! I like to mix the Spring Mix along with the Romaine for a great-tasting & healthy salad. Or some nights we eat just this lettuce with no Spring Mix added. We eat a salad almost every single night so this bag will last us about a month. The hearts are always very crisp and fresh tasting. I usually rinse two off at a time and store them wrapped in paper towels in a plastic storage bag. The other "hearts" I leave in the bag and wash as needed, I find they tend to keep longer. I will definitely buy this lettuce again.

I buy this just about every week for our rabbit. For parties, I usually get the Chopped Romaine but this week the store was out. Just finished cutting up 12 heads and my skin is crawling. I get its fresh produce and needs to be washed but there were DOZENS of little tiny bugs both dead and alive. I washed twice and picked through again and again. Really hope my guests don’t find bugs in their salad. Will not use this product any more. Not even for the bunny.

I have bought this lettuce from Sam's for a long time, but this last batch had such a strong smell of preservatives when I cut into it. I could see white juice pour from the veins. I ignored it, thinking it was a fluke, but some of the heads are 3 weeks old and still no decay. Yuk! This happened with Fuji apples that I used to buy there. I love Sam's, but I will get my romaine from another place from now on.

These romaine hearts are crisp, large, and perfect for salads, wraps, or even using as low-carb "bread" for sandwiches. They stay fresh longer than smaller packs I've tried elsewhere. The 6-count is plenty for a household and a fantastic deal—always stock up when I go to Sam's. Highly recommend!

Bought the 6 pack for a chicken salad dinner using Sam's rotisserie chicken (chicken was delicious btw), lettuce was visibly fresh looking, the taste tho was terrible! Had some sort of weird strong chemical taste to it. Upset my wife's stomach almost immediately. Will not buy again even tho the price was great.
