Unless you are planning on using this the day you get it, beware. They always spoil too quickly. They turn brown and get slimy within a couple of days. I will not purchase again.

Usually the six-pack of Romaine lettuce is a good deal. This last package was opened immediately and the contents were found to be old, “rusty,” discolored, and wilted. At least half of the package had to be tossed.

I like romaine lettuce for salads as it seems to last a long time. I use it to make a salad and add chicken. It is a fast, simple meal. I also put the the lettuce in a vegetable container in the fridge to prolong its life. The price is also great.

We love romaine for salads but it was getting too expensive in grocery stores. This bag of six romaine hearts is fresh and you get twice the romaine for the same price as you pay at the grocery stores.

Large, healthy "hearts" -- six in the bag as advertised. I have been buying these recently so mix in with Iceberg lettuce and spinach for my salads. The product has always been very good so far, so no complaints.

Good quality lettuce! Never had any issues with recalls. Lettuce comes quite clean, needs just a rinse. Doesn't spoil too quickly -- can easily stretch for 1 to 1-1/2 weeks, if needed!

This is a great product. The Romain hearts are always crispy they stay pretty good for a long time in the refrigerator without getting limpy or yellow.

Great price. About the same price for 3 at the grocery store but at Sam’s you get 5. These were a lot darker than normal and my family (except me) prefers that.

This is good quality lettuce. I usually buy this pack and share a couple with my mom. I use it for all my meals from salads to sandwiches to tacos. It’s the perfect lettuce that you can chop up anyway for your needs.

When I get these it’s important to clean right away and store the leaves in an airtight container! Lots of lettuce for sandwiches and salad! Plus more cost effective than already cut and bagged.
