Disappointed and cheated

I used to love getting this lettuce but the past few times had green bugs and flies on almost every leaf of lettuce and the lettuce went bad a lot faster than it used to. The quality has definitely gone down with this lettuce.

Very disappointed with recent purchase. These are light in color (more yellow than green) and extremely bitter. The only usable part due to bitterness is the top 1-2 inches.

I have bought romaine hearts from Sam's Club for years and they've usually been very good, except for today. When I got home, there were gnats crawling all over inside the bag! So check your romaine before you leave the club!

First 3 heads were fine. Got the 3rd one out of the bag and along with were big chunks of dirt. And the head of lettuce was also packed with dirt. Never seen thus happen before with any other store. Had to remove all the leaves, soak in cold water and then rinse under the faucet ti get it all off. It was that bad.
