I purchased Seattle’s best number four. I got a dark roast, but it doesn’t say number four and I’ve had this stuff in the past and it does not taste the same as Seattle’s best number four in the White packages which is what is advertised.

My husband uses the "pour over" method. If you're going to that much trouble to make coffee, it should be good. Some of the other brands are stupidly expensive, but this coffee makes a great cup at a reasonable price.

Very rich, mellow, never bitter, smooth. Seattle's Best is roasted by Starbucks using the same process the original vashon island roaster Mr. Petersen used. The grind is fine and works very well in any drip coffee making process.

He did not like the taste of this coffee

If you like a delicious robust cup of coffee, Seattle's Best is for you. I usually have to add more grounds to the pot to get the rich coffee taste we enjoy but following the standard measure for the amount of coffee you will be making will give you the satisfying cup. We usually grind our beans but our Sam's Club only option is ground. It doesn't matter, the cup made from the coffee at the bottom of the bag is just as flavorful as the first brew. We have been looking for this at home for a long time and we are thrilled that it is available to us at a reasonable price. I must add, that the coffee maker we used when we bought our first bag of Seattle's Best was the one we purchased at a Dollar Store when the coffee maker in our RV stopped working. We were on a long trip and purchased the only drip coffee maker available in a small town. The next city had a Sam's Club where we purchased S B 4 and the rest is history - for us. It is not the coffee maker that makes the coffee good, no better than good - great, it is the coffee in the bag.

I bought this because you no longer have the members mark that I have been using. It is less pleasant, I had to buy two bags to order online. I find overall these requirements to be unacceptable so this is another product that I will have to find another source for.

Found this to be a good smooth tasting coffee with virtually no aftertaste.

Love the fresh brewed flavor and aroma. No burnt flavor that needs to be covered up with extra flavors.

If you were once a lover of Seattle's Best 6th Ave. be for warned, they've been bought out by Nestle and charged the coffee. It no longer has the bold robust flavor it once had, branch water at best! So disappointed and by the looks online everyone who was once a fan has the same feeling. Guessing they won't be around long after this move.
