This is not what I expected at all. I bought it because it was offered as an alternative to the Member's Mark Premium Coffee, which I've loved. That coffee was rich, smooth and easy to brew with a consistent flavor. This one is anything but. I'm trying to find someone who doesn't mind the taste and will take the remaining bag and a half.

This is a strong brew. Flavor was much stronger than my usual Community House dark, maybe due to the very fine grind. Took a few pots before got it right. Only problem is with the fine grind the filter clogs up which causes an overflow when making a full pot resulting in grounds in the pot.

This coffee is my favorite....so good and robust! Wish you would also sell it in the clubs.

I couldn't find the Standard "Velvet Hammer" Beans in the store so I chose the SB, Seems to be OK!
