I filled bags up with broken down cardboard boxes and the bag stretched but didn't rip. I've also filled them up with heavy glass jars and they did a great job. These are my go to trash bags now. They hold a lot of trash and don't rip and tear like other trash bags I tried years ago before making the switch. Also, I love how this particular trash bag grips the cans, making it stay in place and not slip around when the bag starts to get full. I'm really impressed with Glad Forceflexplus! The Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 gallon kitchen trash bag smells just like my favorite Gain detergent. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering, and helps diminish trash odor without making my kitchen smell weird. My favorite feature is the stretch - it's strong enough to hold heavy and pointy objects without ripping. It's also easy to remove from the bin with drawstring ties that withstand the strain of a heavy, fill bag.

I had heard of Glad Forceflexplus before but had never tried it. I had not heard of it with Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 gallon Kitchen Trash Bag. I have a fancy trash can (my husband bought) that takes a special size (letter H). So, I filled this bag over the top and smushed everything down into it. I know I had liquid in there from empty cans that were not totally empty. I had no leaks, the smell was awesome and I didn't have to spray my can with air freshener. I highly recommend this bag. The strength and scent was fantastic!

This brand is the best for leak protection and with two teenagers in the house who do not know the concept of emptying a container it is a must! They hold liquid in and prevent that gross mess in the trash can. They stretch nicely and are sturdy.

It is of the utmost importance the bag can handle the weight and not burst open. The second most important is it contains the odors until garbage day....Its never let me down. I'm GLAD to use them!
