They are perfect for the kitchen garbage as they are strong and are able to stretch without ripping or getting holes. I love that I can smell a little bit of lavender every time I throw something away instead of stinky trash.

They fit my large trash can perfectly and it was tight on the upper edge so the bag did not keep falling in trash bin (an issue I had with other bags.) I've filled it with moderate to almost maximum capacity and experienced no ripping or tearing of the bag. I had a close call with some sharp edges of a cereal box but we should've been recycling that anyway. The things I loved most about the bag is the odor shield. I threw away some brown banana peels after making banana bread and usually I'd have to throw some baking soda on top to keep the sickly sweet smell at bay. I totally forgot to do that but I didnt even notice the scent and only remembered that I threw the banana peels away the next morning when I saw them lying on top of trash. These will be regularly purchased trash bags from now on.

It really does help to hide any unpleasant smells that start to grow as the trash piles up. The next thing I noticed was how strong it was. Since the bag stretches, we were able to squish down our trash more to hold more (meaning less trash bags we needed to use). We typically buy the store brand trash bags to save money, but this would be something I'd consider if we had money in the budget to splurge.

It survived shooting down the compactor room shaft! I have to really push the bag in the shoot but it didn't get any leaks!

However I don't recall it having much more of an affect on bad smells compared to other kinds I've tried so I don't know that I would go out of my way to get these rather than others. I would get them if they are a good price in comparison to other options.

Specifically, we love the Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bag. It hides the stench of the trash and it freshens the cam when a new bag is administered. It’s strong and stays put around the can.

I have 2 kids under 2 both still in diapers so those smelly diapers along with the garbage in other name brand bags would have the smell lingering around the house but with these I couldn't smell the bad smell! They're durable and didn't have the draw strings break on me vs others! Will definitely be switching to these!

While they are definitely a tougher bag than my typical bargain bag they seem very clients clingy snd don’t open up for what your average bag would. So a plus for not tearing but they seem to fill up snd get emptied more often.
