The container

I love Press and Seal for many reasons. The last 3 times I have purchased this product, I had trouble with the container. It seemed so much flimsier . The plastic ends kept falling out and I had trouble removing the plastic from the roll. I will probably continue buying this product as I have not found another like it. Please make a stronger box and fix the plastic ends to stay put. Thanks

Very useful not just for food cover

My best friend needed to have her IV midline kept for weeks because of long-term antibiotic use. When she needed to take showers we have to protect the site from getting wet. At first we use ordinary plastic or cling wrap but water somehow found its way in. We tried the Press N Seal and it did a wonderful job!

Press n seal saved my home from Irma’s flood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product. During Irma (hurricane), the water levels were rising close to my home. I knew I needed something to seal off my door to keep the water from coming in. I remembered that when I had my shoulder and neck surgeries that I use press n seal to cover the stitches, so I could take a shower. So I figured I would try it. I sealed my door off with press and seal and placed towels down over it, so if it didn’t work, I could tell. Water levels had gotten two feet above the threshold. 12 hours later when the water went down, I removed the press n seal. My door was soaked, but the threshold and inside was dry! Thank you Glad for this product! It saved my home from water damage! I had plastic and tape, but didn’t want to damage the paint or have sticky tape marks. I do agree with others about the strip. I figured out that if you hold the end down on a counter with your arm and hold the plastic near the top to start the cut off, it works great.

A must have in my kitchen!

I really love the Press 'n Seal product. It's a product I must have in my kitchen. When I'm running low, I am sure to stock up on it before I run out. I use it pretty much daily and love how well it sticks, seals and protects my food. I highly recommend!

Enables storing right

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been great to use this to cover things cooked in pots for storage in the fridge in particular we have been using it to cover the rice cooker pot which allows us to store things without having to get out another tupperware container. The seal is much much stronger than when we just use plastic wrap and much more re-usable

Oh Boy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my son! He is also one of the most accident prone people I have EVER known! He accidentally broke a window out in his sleep...rolling over in the top bunk (not the window storm thank goodness!). There has been a lot of snow this winter and it has been pretty cold. My accident prone, but brilliant child cleaned up the mess, applied Glad Press 'n Seal to outside of the frame and also on the inside of the window frame. I was delighted how well that was able to insulate his room until the window was replaced a few days later. Awesome product!! Also works on bowls of food that are accidentally knocked to the floor too!! I'm "glad" I have this product in my home...so is my boy!

Works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this seal when i can't find any lids to any of my bowls and it works amazing! Its also perfect to seal any fruits or yogurts that my nephew leaves behind. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who always has leftovers.

The new change doesn't work

I love the pres'n seal film but this last pack comes with plastic cutter instead of the old metal style and it has become frustrating to use this product. The plastic serrated area doesn't cut; it doesn't stay in place and I have wasted a lot of product trying to cut a dissent piece. Now I have to apply extra steps by getting some scissors, trying to cut a piece of film without getting the film stocked together in a timely manner. I could recommend the product but not the mechanism. It's not working efficiently like it used to be.

Hard to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the press in seal thinking it would be easy to use. It was not. I could not get the plastic to cut right. It would not stick like I thought. It is a good idea. I do not think I will buy it again.

Easy table to fridge food storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find that press'n seal makes saving leftovers super convenient. I can leave the food on the plate or bowl, quickly cover with a piece of press'n seal, swipe my finger around the edge, and pop it in the fridge. I avoid extra dishes, because I can reserve on the original dish.
