Good for lightweight jobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a carpet cleaner, so I use it to clean my carpets. The first thing I did was clean the throw rugs. It did a good a good job; but on one of the rugs, the edge of the rug caught in the brushes, causing them to lock up and destroying the belt that turns the brushes. So, I used the machine for 10 minutes, and it's already broken. I bought a new belt, and hope to install that. I wish there had been something on the machine to automatically turn it off when it got caught on something--but there isn't. Any time that happens, you're going to destroy a belt, and there are 3 belts on the machine. The machine is also terribly noisy when it runs. Because the belts on the machine are so small and flimsy, I'm uncertain about attempting to deep-clean my carpets. It has 2 settings: deep-clean and express clean. I'm going to stay with the express clean, so I can keep the machine together.

Very good upgrade from our older ProHeat upright cleaner.

The cleaner was a replacement of an old ProHeat cleaner; the new cleaner worked very well. Although I thought I was paying close attention to the instructions, I did miss something crucial - to change the selection on the cleaner from Express Clean to Deep Clean. I was wondering why I had so much water/cleaner solution in the tank after using the cleaner in a fairly large area. When I realized my mistake and made the switch to Deep Clean, I could see that much more water/cleaner shot out and the clean tank quickly was used up. This cleaner did a good job on stains and odors in a carpet area that had been used inappropriately by our feline companions.

Best floor cleaner; fair price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use it to clean our carpet after our foster dogs leave! We fostered two puppies and this worked like a charm. Got rid of the pee smell!! And we used it after our last foster, a boy who liked to mark his territory. Again-got rid of the smell!! We love it.

I would definitely buy this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After researching commercial cleaners and other home cleaners, I decided on Bissell's ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Carpet Cleaner because of all the functions that it provides -- low carpet, high traffic areas, max wash, light wash, deep wash, pet areas-spot cleaning, stairs and upholstery, and the price was cheaper than renting/hiring. I watched videos and read reviews. They were mostly positive and the videos really showed before and after positive results. The cleaner was easy to put together -- only one screw to attach the top handle to the main unit, everything else just snapped in. Easy to mix the free sample sized solution in with the hot water. They sent two types of solution -- antibacterial and regular carpet cleaner. Both bottles lasted enough to cover a 9 foot area rug, and 3 good-sized bedroom thick carpets. There is still some solution left over for another bedroom. The water does get used up pretty fast, so you have to make sure you empty the dirty water container and re-fill the clean, hot water solution chamber. But the cleaner did get the carpet smelling fresh, looking brand new and was gentle on the carpet as the carpet was high-end thick carpet. We have an English Cream Retriever who likes to roll around all over the carpet after he eats, so he gets his order planted right in there, silly guy. And our bedroom that he sleeps in was smelling like a Nacho Factory. Smell is all gone and we feel like we have hygiene again, especially with Covid-19. The only real drawback and pain is cleaning the machine. It is not easy and it gets heavy to lift into the sick to clean the brushes and underside because of our dog's hair. Getting dog hair out of the plastic cover that pulls up the dirty water is a real pain and takes so much time. Plus the orange dual rollers underside -- I had to pick by hand and roll by hand each roller to get the caught fibers and hair - YUCK! Otherwise, powerful, sturdy, cleans well, easy-to-use and affordable.

Buy it, save money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worth every penny! Used for our busy living area. Three children five and under...lots of spills and muddy shoes! A purple crayon was crushed under our sofa leg....went over that spot a few times....there's no sign that there was ever a dark purple stain there! I loved that my purchase came with trial size cleaners!

Quit thinking about it, pull the trigger and buy one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received and put to an immediate test on white carpet, defiled by a new puppy. I will leave it to your imagination but it was bad. The Machine was extremely easy to assemble and had plenty of accessories. We had also ordered a 60oz bottle of Pet Stain & Odor cleaning to use for our test. We had 3 pet induced blotches that we had tried to clean up by hand previously (and you could tell!) We used our ProHeat @X Rev on Max Clean and went to it. Suprisingly (I'm a doubting Thomas) the 2X made easy work of this clean up, even after 6 months of tramping over it, etc. I was pretty impressed to say the least. I was surprisingly simple!! I let my wife take a go at it and I didn't think she'd let go or stop and that is saying something. Would I recommend this unit, YES, 2X over. Also, there is a interesing dude on YouTube that takes you through the real fun, the cleanup, but even that is SIMPLE. Good luck pet owners, cheers to clean, better smelling carpets!

Does a very good job removing stains

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this in 2 rooms. This did an excellent job removing food stains, dirt, and a pee stain. It took longer to dry than expected and I had to do one room twice to remove the doggy smell from the carpet and to completely remove several stains. Cleaning is a bit confusing and not sure how the containers will completely dry.

Easy to use

This is fantastic! It is replacing our 20 year old bissell! It's very lightweight, easy to use. Much smaller design but tremendous cleaning power. The suction is great allowing the floors to dry faster. The smaller design allows you to get under furniture with no problem. The Spot clean capabilities are a carpet saver fif you have pets. Love it!!

Great Carpet Cleaner for sure!!

Our recent purchase of the the ProHeat 2x Pet Carpet Cleaner was money well spent. The ease and functionality of the cleaner and hand attachments have made a huge difference in the look of our carpets and furniture. WE couldn't be more pleased with this product and would certainly recommend it as a great addition to any home owner.

This thing sucks - in the best of ways

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've never owned a carpet cleaner before - it always just seemed like something that only neat freaks owned - but then our dog ate something toxic and got sick.. like, really, really sick. She made a huge a huge mess of the carpet in our house, to the point that there was no option but to get the carpets cleaned one way or another. After some quick consideration we opted to buy a carpet cleaner since they really aren't all that expensive in the whole scheme of things. One of my wife's friend (who is one of those previously mentioned clean freaks) owned one of these ProHeat units and was really excited about it, claiming it was the best carpet cleaner she's ever owned. After some quick Googling of carpet cleaner reviews, the data lined up, so we ordered one up. It arrived exactly when they said it would, and assembled really quickly - probably less than 6 minutes, with pretty minimal need to look at the directions. That afternoon I got the furniture moved, carpet vacuumed, and got to running the carpet cleaner... and I gotta say, I was pretty impressed! It made really quick work of the mess(es) from the dog - and was very quickly proving to me that we don't clean enough. Things dried pretty quickly overnight, and the carpet still smells nice and clean. I'm almost excited for the next time we clean the carpets... it's a weird feeling. Cleanup of the unit wasn't too bad either. Since we have a dog and a cat in the house, there was some hair removal involved - the included tool makes that pretty easy. I did end up lifting the whole unit up into the sink to rinse out the base of the unit that can't be removed. In hind sight, I wish I would have just run a tank of just plain water through on a spot of the carpet (keep in mind, I wasn't reading instructions at that point, so it may have even told me to do that). But even how I did it, it's not like I'm dreading using the unit because of cleanup. P.S. - the dog survived and is doing fine after a couple days at the vet.
