The machine was very easy to put together. I followed instructions to the letter. However once it dried I went back and looked and there were brown marks that look like where dirty water had dried. I had to take spot cleaner to clean those areas. After Christmas I'm going to use it one more time just to see if it was operator error or not. I believe in giving a product more than one chance. Hopefully I will not be disappointed on the Second Use.

I use to have a Hoover carpet cleaner steam vac for over 30 years. It never did such a great job as the Bissel Revolution ever did. The Bissel got up spots and stains that the Hoover could not get out. The Bissel gets up all of them stains and spots! Thank you Bissel!! The carpet in my home looks new and smells wonderful!! I did my friends carpet with the Bissel and got up a lot of cat hair! I am going to use the Bissel carpet cleaner on my room upstairs and see how it gets out a dirty spot in front of my chair that been there for over 20 years, I have white loop carpet. Bissel can clean the downstairs carpet it should clean upstairs better then ever!! Thank you again. That was $200.00 well spent!

We recently had construction in our home. The builders put a plastic cover over our carpet to protect it during the construction. The cover was held in place by a sticky substance. When the cover was removed, a residue remained. Over a period of about three weeks, this part of the carpeting became discolored and displayed an obvious path showing where the cover had been. One application with the Bissell ProHeat 2X carpet cleaner removed all traces of the discoloration. Of course, we were very happy with these results and have since purchased another ProHeat 2X for our daughter. There are a lot of people in and out of our house every day, and the Bissell products are ideal for maintaining our carpets.

This lightweight cleaner is wonderful if I didn't clean my carpets myself I would never have believed the carpet was that dirty. The carpets came out beautiful and I accomplished this all by myself at age 70 years young. My grandsons normal does the carpets and I pay them. Had other steam cleaners but none like this one. Just love it!!!

This is my first carpet cleaner and I have been wanting one for sooooo long, and this machine did not disappoint me at all. It cleaned the carpet very well, the cleaning solutions smell great!!! It was very easy to put together and after use only took about one hour to dry. I highly recommend.

I had to finally toss my old Bissell after owning it for 15 years. I ordered this one, thinking "write ups always claim more than you actually get." BUT, the day it arrived, I just HAD to try it out. I live in a rental which has had many pets before mine. There WERE stains that no matter what I did, they seemed to be a permanent part of the house. NOT ANYMORE! This machine is easy to use, easy to clean and does an awesome job! I vacuumed as recommended and was SHOCKED to see all the fur this machine STILL pulled out of my carpets. The water was BLACK! After the carpet dried and I vacuumed again... It was like having new carpet!

I have been in the market for a carpet cleaner for quite a while. I have done cursory research for just the right machine for my needs but I would never commit. And then I saw the infomercial for Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Carpet Cleaner and I knew it was the one for me. We live in a small house so size was definitely an issue for storage. We also have a cat, and even though her "messes" are minimal, she occasionally experiences an upset stomach, which requires clean-up. There were multiple reasons I purchased this cleaner. Number one was the Bissell name, two was the different kinds of cleaning that it performed (heavy duty, light duty, upholstery, etc.), and three was the physical size of the machine (easy to store for us and to lift/carry). I have used it in small areas and have been impressed with it so far. I am currently dogsitting for a family member and as soon as Kona the dog goes back to her family, I'm going to give this cleaner a thorough workout! Thank you, Bissell!

Have cleaned two carpet with it so far. Have used rental cleaners before and this does as good if not better. With three dogs, we get a lot of dirt tracked in and this unit gets it out. After a short learning curve, its easy to disassemble and clean. A good balance between size and power which takes up minimal storage space.

I love this machine I brought so many others before this one and NEVER!!! Seen a machine like this I have off white carpet and a small dog alone with a teenager I'm so amazed at how well it works and how great it has my carpet looking thank you Bissell for this one!

Have had the cleaner for less than a year and have had problems since day 1. Water leaks all over the place, the brushes aren't strong enough to turn while on the carpet and motor seized up after 3rd use. Was able to get the motor to turn over but now the motor sounds and feels like it's going to fall out. What good is a carpet cleaner if the brushes aren't strong enough to clean. I take very good care of the system and make sure it's clean and dry before storing. Will retire this system as more time has been spent trying to fix then cleaning carpet.
