I've been a long-time user of Bissell products. I had my last steam vacuum for over seven years and it finally broke. I chose this one because I thought I had a lot of great reviews but I'm disappointed that in between changing the water it somehow leaks all over the carpet. We don't live anywhere near repair place. I really don't feel like after only owning it for one day that I should even have to take it to a repair place. It has great suction and really does dry fast which is perfect in a house with three kids.

Bought this at orchard right before they closed. Used it once to clean and it worked. Took it out a few weeks later and the brushes wouldn't work. I only used it to clean a small room and now it is broken. I can't even return it now. Had a Hover that lasted years. I think I'll go back to that brand.

Easy to use. The first unit died on the second use, it was registered online and after a brief conversation with a nice young lady in India or somewhere, a return authorization was granted and a return label emailed. A new replacement unit was received in less than a week. As with all things made of plastic, maintain realistic expectations. This is not a commercial unit. After shampooing, it takes many extremely slow passes to pull out most of the shampoo solution. Your carpet will still be a little damp, but far cleaner afterwards. We have been cleaning weekly as we had four new puppies, now down to one remaining. When it is gone, we will likely use the cleaner quarterly vs weekly.

Used to clean low nap carpet. It did good the first use, but since has not cleaned well. Blades don't turn as they should, hard to clean. I have cleaned , made sure blades were free to turn well but it has not happened. I need a replacement, or something else. Very disappointed.

The way this was designed has made it so simple and easy to use. The suction is superbly strong, and the adding of cleaning solution makes so much sense. The only thing it doesn't need is that special top on the products and water compartment. That is a waste of money in production. OTHERWISE, Everything was so well thought out, I was sure a woman designed it!!!! LOL,,, I really love this machine, very efficient and cleanup is a breeze. Thank you Bissell, great job! Angela, VA

i recently bought this , an thought it would be a good one , NO!! it's the worst one I ever had , it only picks up water as it goes out ,i still have a lot of water on my floor an the fleas is about to be bad, more money to to put out, that I don't have when on a monthly check

I have owned many cleaners which were very heavy, complicated to use and did not last very long due to mechanical issues. This product is light, very easy to use and my carpets showed improvement the first time I used it. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I used this once and found that it picked up any hair buried in carpets which the vacuum could not get. It has a wide brush area which makes cleaning quicker too. Great product.

I have used this maybe 6 times since I bought it 13 months ago. It's been leaking a smidge from one of the filters clogging, which was tolerable. The wheel just broke off as I prepare to adopt new fur babies. There are no replacement wheels available on this site... I'm disappointed.

We bought this machine last Fall and used it one time. It seemed to work fine. After sitting in the storeroom all winter we took it out to use for Spring cleaning/ it will not suck up the water now. The thing looks brand new....after reading the manual and watching the videos nothing will make this this thing suck up the spent water. This was a bust. The price was right..but if something doesn't work...the product has zero value. The service number is a joke....you get a recording to stay on line.....and stay ...and stay. I live in a major city and rhe closest service center is. over 50 miles.....

When I first got the machine I thought I had made a big mistake. The plastic components felt like they would break. But once I put it to work, I was so pleased with the results. The plastic components actually makes the machine very light and easy to handle, even on the stairs. I love this machine now. So glad that I kept it.
