I have only used it twice and really loved the way it cleaned. The down side to this is the small belt that lets the brushes roll broke after only using it twice. I went online to order a new one and they are out of stock. I called and was told don't know when they will be in stock so in the mean time can't finish cleaning the carpets. Really disappointed if the belts do not come in soon I will return the product.

I love this machine!! A previous renter in my home let their dogs run wild. Let's just say the carpets were not pretty. The first time I used it I was disgusted by the water it pulled up. Used it a few weeks later and the water was practically clear.

The 2X carpet cleaner did fine until we began using the hand tool. The hand tool sprayed cleaner for a few minutes and stopped. Couldn't determine why so I went on line to get support and didn't see any department. At this time it looks like a return to supplier.

Been a bissell owner for many years and have always been satisfied. This product, however, surpasses all the others, by really focusing on pet owners and their love of the four footed bundles of love. They realize the aformentioned bundles have "accidents" which makes the owners distressed! The focus on urine shows that bissell knows the challenges of dog ownership and has given us a product that is much more effective than the "professional" cleaners. Well done, very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Piece of garbage. Works Ok the first time you use it but there is no way to clean it. Shame on you Bissell for making such a worthless product! Brushes should be removable to rinse off or toss in the dishwasher. I'm an Engineer and would be embarrassed if I had any hand in this product. Better off with a rag and a bucket of water, trust me and don't let your partner waste your hard earned money on a product like this! Nice website too, for 1990!

Just using this one time so far, this machine has FAR exceeded my expectations! I had carpet stains and darker patches that i didn't expect to come out, but they did! I bought this with the intention of being able to clean and disinfect our carpet, for our upcoming baby arrival, not for stain removal but this has done both!! I am more than satisfied and will recommend this to everyone.

Super happy and excited about purchase. I had spots my last steam cleaner never took out. I used the proheat, and it took every last one out and brought them back to life and looked just as good when I got them! The amount of sand it pulled up (live near beach) was amazing! Recommended it if you have pets as well. Took out hair that had wedged in like nothing. Easy to use and clean!

Very easy to assemble does a beautiful job. I suppose the "Express Clean". Could dry in an hour; if, you had fans everywhere with very good ventilation. If not. A good 6 hours. The cord could be longer. GREAT shampooer though. Does a very thorough job. Also very easy to clean afterwards.

Very impressed with this cleaner. I had an old Kool-Aid stain (probably 20 yrs. old) that I tried every kind of spot remover and cleaning device on. After two sprays with the spot remover , and a little scrub with the small brush attachment, it is now gone. My carpet is over 20 years old and is the original carpet in our mobile home. This carpet cleaner did a great job on restoring the nap and cleaning the carpet. Wish I had purchased a long time ago.

Been using a vacuum cleaner for years. Only got the stuff off the carpet. Got a Proheat 2x. Amazing what comes OUT of the carpet. Suggest using the chemical cleaner for hard to extract dirt, stains. Recommend using HOT water only for everything else. Wonderful results from from usage. Dirt, pet, previous chemicals used from carpet cleaners. Everything comes out with just HOT water. Carpet will still be damp, but not wet after usage. Takes more than one hour to dry. Open doors, windows, use a fan to speed up drying. Exceptionally happy with use. Even with a full tank of water, the cleaner is not too heavy to use. A full tank of water will give you 5 or so minutes of use before waste water tank is full. Expect to empty waste water and refill clean water tanks many times even for a small area of carpet. Worth the extra effort. A vacuum cleaner is not enough. Get a Proheat 2x and get the rest of the junk OUT of the carpet.
