This worked pretty good, except on some old stains, that I didn't know what they were from. I recommend it to anyone that needs to shampoo carpets on a regular basis and doesn't want to hire a professional. I am a 68 year old woman and it was not hard for me to operate. I am glad I bought it.

When I emptied the tank, I was shocked at what came out of my carpets and that was after vacuuming them twice. They got back the new carpet smell and looked factory fresh!

My only complaint is that it was hard to get the gunk out of the head where the brushes are. The flexible plastic strip did the job pretty well, but it took a lot of maneuvering.

It is easy to use-I love that there are different settings for heavy cleaning to light cleaning/quick drying. Clean up was fairly easy and the tools provided helped a lot. However, it would be better if the rollers could be removed. I am extremely pleased with my purchase!

She has cleaned her carpets and they look brand new. I'm due for a new Bissel Carpet Cleaner and I know I will be sticking with a Bissel Brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine does a great job of cleaning. We have been doing small areas at a time and have been very pleased with the results. It does leave water on the carpet when you turn it off but we solved that by putting a large tray nearby and setting the machine on the tray. We had some issues with the shipping but they were great at resolving the issues.
