I can't give this enough stars to tell you how much I love this machine! Unfortunately I did not take before and after pictures but my carpet was a mess with pet stains from my dog, tracked in mud (we are farmers), and no telling what else. After 1 shampoo with this machine it looks almost like new carpet. I believe the fact that the machine keeps the water hot is a huge part of the benefit. I read some reviews about it not sucking up the water but I figured out that you have to go very slow. You can't use it like you do a vacuum cleaner. It is also very easy to assemble and use and comes with great attachments (I haven't used them yet.)

Since I'm unable to use any cleaning products to clean my carpets because of my parrot, I was hoping that this machine would heat the water enough to take out the urine stains in my living room carpet. Unfortunately, it did not work and I returned it. The small area that I used it in, was still wet 24 hours later and the urine stain still visible. Just because it didn't work for my situation, doesn't mean it wouldn't work for someone else's who can use the cleaning products. I would recommend this. Pro's - It was easy to put together, and use. It is lightweight. I did not have to keep refilling the clean water tank.

Purchased this Bissell Pet 8930U in April 2022 (to replace a Hoover F75490-900 Steam-Vac that I bought from Sam's in 2010: the Hoover was an effective but heavy/super-noisy clunker that one or the other of my little daughters would ride to force the vacuum to pick up more hot water): the Bissell is a really excellent machine that we are totally happy with! The Bissell has more than twice the suction with half the noise, and half the machine weight; 2/3 of the purchase cost in 2022 as the Hoover did in 2010 ; the rotary brush configuration pulls 2~3 times as much junk (more than half of which is cat hair from our now 10-year-old tortie) out of our carpet as the old Hoover. I was afraid when I bought it that I was making a big mistake [1] with a machine that didn't have a rinse-only cycle or tank (but that has not proven to be an issue), [2] trying to keep our carpets alive for another few years... but they look better today than they did 10 years ago with only half the time & effort!

I purchased the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution carpet cleaner but didn't use it for months. I'm not impressed by this carpet cleaner. If I use the carpet cleaner as instructed, the carpet is left sopping wet. I continue to run the cleaner over the carpet until no liquid is being removed from the carpet but it takes a lot of time (too much time). I wish I used the carpet cleaner sooner because I would have returned it if I had. I use Bissell products almost exclusively, but this carpet cleaner is not worth it.

My Apt suffered a mini flood caused by the recent rain storm on Thursday and the carpet started to mildew. The smell was horrible!!!! I bought this carpet cleaner, immediately I noticed the rancid smell disappear. I would recommend this cleaner to everyone . It came with everything I needed and I didn't have to spend my last dime to buy a cleaner. So very happy and relieved.

It worked for 5 months, with 5-6 uses. After that, it stopped spraying the water. I called the customer service line and they sent me the youtube link on how to check the belt and clean the filter. It is still not working. I asked if I can send them to repair and they mentioned that if it is the issue with the belt, it is not covered. I would expect it to last longer and the company to provide better after sales service.

I bought this 4 months ago and we used it probably 20 times now. (Two dogs and two children under 2). I hate this thing. I wish I could return it. It is SO inconvenient. The pet hair gathers in tough to reach spots and taking the brushes out to clean it is a very difficult process (screw driver needed) to do unlike others I've used. It took us an hour to take the brushes out, clean them, and put them back in. It also leaks terribly. Everytime I've used it, if you leave it even for a few minutes without running it, it's leaking fluid on the floor, a nice sized puddle. I would never buy this again.

The machine was easy to put together but it only worked long enough to do a small area on my carpet and then the water pump stopped working Now I have to take the time to bring it back to Sam's Club. Don't waste your money or your time on this machine

I gave it two stars because it technically deposits water on the carpet and pulls some back out.Does it somewhat clean the carpet, yes. But it leaves it very wet. It also did not remove even the lightest of stains. The handheld piece only works sporadically. You can take the attachment off and reattach it and sometimes water will come out and sometimes not.I read reviews that said to put something under the base when using the handheld since the beater bars keep spinning. I put a plastic storage lid underneath it and the beater bars literally rubbed all of the way through the lid and there was plastic pieces all of the carpet.

I was reluctant to purchase one of these. Well, I had a cat, that we just took in, that started spraying. I didn't want to buy a carpet cleaner because I was scared I was wasting my money so I borrowed my mom's. Well, although it doesn't hold a ton of water/solution, it really did a great job cleaning my rug. I was really impressed. I'll be buying one very soon.
