I like it because as I rub it on my face and body it feels like a lotion, I like the smell too. What I don’t like about it is it’s too slippery on my hands, and melts quickly. I also don’t feel it cleanse my body well like it will get rid of 99.9% of germs in my body. So what I do is I clean my body first with a regular cleaning soap after I wash again with dove. With this routine I feel clean and smooth.

Not long ago, I went to the dermatologist for what turned out to be eczema. In addition to a prescription cream to be used short-term, the doctor told me to start using two things: white Dove soap, and Cerave moisturizing cream. I was, to say the least, surprised. I've read for years that bar soap is bad for your skin; that the ingredients that make it solid also clog your pores. I had been a dedicated "body wash" user for years. But I decided to give Dove soap a try, since I figured it was a low-cost experiment--plus, my dermatologist had gorgeous skin! Boy, was I ever surprised. This stuff is GREAT. The Dove soap/Cerave cream combo makes my skin look and feel beautiful, and the eczema is gone. I'm a believer!!!

I’ve been using this soap for my entire life and I swear by it! I have tried to switch to other soaps and there are not many that compare to this one. It is so moisturizing and lathers onto the skin so well. I feel so clean and refreshed after I use it. Great quality product!

I !over Dove soap it make your skin feel smooth and clean and it don't dry out your skin it's good for your face also me and my daughters loved Dove Soap we don't use nothing but Dove on our skin and buying it from my favorite store Walmart it's cheaper cause I loved myself some Walmart

Dove is my go-to soap for it's non-drying properties. The "White" soap, it turns out, is heavily fragranced, with no indication of that on the packaging. When I arrived home from the store and took it out of the bag, I could smell it through the unopened cellophane wrapper. The fragrance continued to dominate the under-sink storage area. The bar I want is "Sensitive Skin". Though the packaging doesn't say "unscented", it is.

I love the scent and and that it doesn't dry out my skin. I love the way the white original Dove beauty bar smells. The pink one is good too and the vanilla shea butter are my faves. I've had the Mango scent and the kaolin clay they are ok. But its very moisturizing and doesn't melt as fast as olay beauty bars. Next i will try the lavender scent. Idk if any can top the vanilla shea white original or pink though.

Me personally am a fan of this brand because they do not do animal testing and their products are very clean and good for you. I love a lot of the other products, including this soap. The only thing about this soap is, it does not make your hands feel very moisturized, however many more of their products do. 

I occasionally like using this bar but I often find myself too moisturized and oily after showering. I love the entire dove line but I often stay away from this soap bar. But that is only if you prefer to come out fresh and then use body lotion to get back the moisture

I have been using the dub original beauty bar with deep moisture for years now and what I really like about it is that it doesn't irritate your skin. This is a product that my whole family can use especially my youngest son who has sensitive skin and he has to be really careful with the products that he's able to use and this product helps avoid skin rashes. I love using different types of Dove products but this is always my go-to because of how moisturized it leaves my skin feeling. I really like the fact that it's a plant-based cleanser and I can use this for everything I can use it for my body I can use it for my face I can use it for my hands and it doesn't dry out my skin.
