Dove soap is okay but prefer Dial.

If you like highly perfumed soaps, this brand might be for you. I bought it because I could not find Ivory bar soap, but the scent of this Dove is overwhelming to me. I opened the cellophane package and was appalled. Even when I am in the hall and walk by the bathroom, I can smell this soap permeating the air. I suppose liking it depends on how much scent you can tolerate.

I’ve used this from time to time but it has never been a first choice. The soap does what it needs to do but I haven’t noticed any short or even long term affects of this soap. Despite that, I’ve never been let down by this specific product. So, if you’re looking for something that does what it needs to and you’re not interested in further benefits this is a solid and affordable choice.
