I’ve enjoyed the gentle cleansing and subtle fragrance of Dove soap ever since I was a kid, over half a hundred years ago! We lived on the farm, no running water at that time. Many Saturday nights, a couple of us kids stayed overnight on the edge of town with our grandparents. A nice warm generous soaking in their great big (to us) bathtub, a luxurious lathering-up with fragrant Dove soap, and “Have Gun Will Travel” and “Gunsmoke” on TV. And a bowl of ice cream. What a treat for a couple of country kids!

i love Dove products, ALL of them!! Dove classic white bar soap is always my go to when i want to relax and smell nostalgic. Botging beats getting out of the shower and snelling and feeling clean. Not all dried out. I've been using Dove classic white bar on my face ,solely, since i was young. im now almost 50 and u could never tell and i swear, its the dove. and for tgis price, you cant beat it. definitely buying more

Dove white has always been my go to soap!! It smells really great, the fragrance isn't over powering like some others. Also, it really cleanses the skin without drying you out too much. I recommend this soap because I have diabetes and lupus, so I love the moisture in this bar.

I used Dove for many years, then I switched to Dial, then switched back because of store availability. When I switched back, I really noticed that Dove leaves a noticeable film when rinsing. This is annoying when you're in a hurry, but it does help keep your tub looking cleaner longer, and make your skin feel softer after it has dried. It took me a little while to get used to it again, though.

The formula is perfect. I bought it to use on my face. My face gets extremely clean... I live where it is super dusty and we get high winds. It makes me feel better knowing im using a product that combats those conditions but also is super gentle to my already sensitive skin.

I like this bar soap, it smells clean (not too perfumish) it’s silky smooth and lathers great. And it’s at a good price point. My only complaint is that it gets used up really fast, I have other bar soaps that are the same size that last twice as long. It just seems to dissolve quicker that others. For the price and moisturizing factor I will continue to buy. It is a good product.

This is the original dove soap and it really does a great job cleaning. The only drawback is it can cause some allergies due to the very strong scent. Both my dad and some company visiting came out of the shower with swollen red eyes from the very strong scent. However, it seems like after a few uses, (and the soap is about 1/2 gone), it’s not quite as strong and less allergic reactions. If you’re sensitive to smell, one of the other fragrances will most likely work better. (My dad uses the cucumber scented with no issues whatsoever!—it’s his favorite!)

A week ago I went at 4:30 and their were 34 cars there...I ended up being there for over an hour. Then when leaving as nother car ran into my bumper minor damage but not a pleasant experience. Fortunately the other driver couldn't have been nicer. Surely all of us weren't scheduled at the same time,!!!
