One thing about the dove soap bar is that it actually cleans your skin. I've been using it for years because it truly does the job as long as you make a good lather. It doesn't really have much of a smell which is good because fragrances usually irritate my skin. A great soap to use in the shower or to just wash your hands with.

I have plenty of different body washes that range from drug store to premium beauty.. but I always keep a bar of Dove soap in the shower. I love it because it leaves my skin so clean and hydrated. I used Dove as my go to cleansing bar for years. It was extremely gentle on my sensitive skin; it seemed to be the only soap that didn't irritate my skin for a very long time. I've been having major skin issues since the pandemic. I made the horrible and dumb choice while so sick out of my mind as to over take pain meds and a cold medicine containing acetaminophen and it made my body break out horribly. My body hasn't been the same since in the sense that ever so often I'll break out now with skin hives or flare ups (I'll go to a derm or doctor soon for this) and I've been super iffy on which soap I use due to this issue. Dove has always been good for me and it works so well with inflamed skin or skin with issues such as redness and rashes. It lathers well, cleans well, smells unique and fresh and really good quality. Really, only soap I'll trust.

I really like using this before going in with scented body wash. It's really good for your skin and also on your private areas because it is unscented and it's better than using fragrance. it also makes my skin feel nice before going in with body wash.

Doesn't leave my skin dry, always soft. And when I went through weight loss, I used this religiously in the areas with extra skin (followed with their lotion) and you wouldn't believe how amazing it helps to return the skins natural tone And texture.
