When I wear makeup and use this Dove bar alone to clean my face it doesn't remove the foundation or mascara well. I end up having to use makeup remover and then wash with this. I also use a separate exfoliate to remove flaky or dry skin. It's a great gentle product to use as part of your skin care routine, or for cleansing daily and you don't need heavy cleaning. The only issue I have with it is that I don't find it to be particularly moisturizing so I use additional moisturizers. Overall a good product for sensitive skin though.
