Probably yes, but it's a new take on the old Dove creamy formula - still moisturizing, still effective but with a modern twist - the new scent gives a little more refreshment and it works well for shaving, too. My man likes this soap bar

The Dove bar soaps do exactly as advertised. It cleans tough dirt, rinses clean, and leaves you with a fresh feeling. The lotion in the soap leaves your skin extra soft. Great for anyone who works with their hands in a dirty "environment/job" without leaving your hands and body feeling rough and dry. I do wish there was more fragrance in the soap. Still top on my list for soap. It' the only beauty secret I use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this bar, and a nice clean smell to it and makes me feel clean. Doesn’t feel difficult to rinse off either. In the end I like the way I feel. No dryness that I notice and as one with sensitive skin, doesn’t make me itch.

I've got a roommate and his son in the house as well and they used this one, too. the other products were left for me. I never would've guessed the Face bar would go first.... I might have to find this one sooner than later.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The body bar was nice. My honey didnt use it on his face. Thought it would be weird using it as a face wash but he said it was like a normal bar of soap. Nothing extravagant or different. The smell is great and lingers afterwards like cologne!

It's barely more than a dollar per bar. For something that cheap you would expect it to basically disintegrate after two showers. Not so with this soap. It lasts a full week usually, and very often more. You can reasonably expect to get 7-10 showers per bar AT LEAST.

He said it smelled good and felt good, however, as with all soaps, it made a mess in our shower with our 2 kids always poking at it and digging their fingers into it. We simply prefer body wash to a soap bar.
