I tend to use bar soap to wash my face as well as my body and it did leave my face feeling a bit dryer than I like it - works great on the body though! I received my Dove Men+Care Extra Fresh Body And Face Bar for free from Influenster to test and review.

The next morning my face felt soft and clean. The scent is also very pleasant. There are not man skin products tailored to just men, so I am glad Influenster sent me this product to try out in exchange for an honest review.

It seemed to be very effective at cleansing. It didnt dry out his skin either. I would definitely purchase for him in the future!

I washed my face today with this soap and I’m very impressed by the fact that once the suds (and plenty of them) rinsed off, my face did not feel tight and dried up- but refreshed and moisturized! I thought men care products would be more harsh, but this one is not! If my face felt good and not dried up, the rest of my skin will probably feel even better after use! It smells manly, but in a good way! I love it, even though I didn’t think it would work for me. I suppose I can share it with my husband since this kit came for him, not me!

He said it seemed like just a regular bar of soap to him. He felt he’d been tricked (by me) into washing his face, lol. Not better or worse than any other soap. His skin did not feel different and he described the smell as nondescript. It was the best I could get out of him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only do I not usually use bar soap, but I frequently opt for bottled soap over bar soap. I really enjoy this soap, and would definitely buy it for myself. As someone who has pretty dry skin, I've never really felt optimistic about Dove's claim regarding putting a quart of moisturizer in each of their bar soaps, but let me tell you, there is a difference. The only thing I felt upset about is that there simply wasn't enough of this, and that I felt like the bar should be bigger. Very impressed, Dove.
