[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how much lather you get from this tiny but mug soap! Smells amazing and makes my skin super soft! Scent doesn’t last as much as I would love to but that’s with most bar soaps. There was no residue after showering.

Dear Caress Team, I am writing as a lifelong customer of your Original Scent bar soap. I have used this soap since I was a little girl. The scent is deeply nostalgic for me and reminds me of my grandmother, who used Caress long before I was born. My grandmother has since passed, and in a very real and personal way, that familiar scent brought me comfort. It was one of the small, meaningful connections I still had to her. For my family and me, this was never just soap, it was part of our memories and traditions. Recently, I searched several stores trying to find the Original Scent, only to discover that the formula has changed. Unfortunately, the scent is no longer the same, and the texture feels different as well. The soap now leaves a sticky feeling when rinsing, which I do not enjoy at all. I understand that companies evolve products over time, but this change has been truly heartbreaking for me. My family and I have been loyal customers for many years, and I wanted you to know how much the original formula meant to us. If there is any possibility of bringing back the original scent and formula even as a limited or “classic” edition I know there are many longtime customers who would deeply appreciate it. I wish you would bring back the old scent and formula. I was a 20+ year loyal customer and the new scent and formula is horrible. You've probably received so many other complaints, I don't understand why you don't bring it back. My entire family and friends all had to stop using it because all 9 of us agreed it smelled horrible and made us all have skin issues. And we were all 20+ year loyal customers. You've definitely lost a lot of business. Please bring the old formula and scent back.

The change to my previously all-time favorite soap is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOO disappointed in what they've done to the original Caress bar soap. Why did they change this product after all these years? I'm a loyal customer who's been using Caress Bar Soap my entire life, and I'm in my 50's. My mom uses it, my kids use it, my aunt and cousins use it, my husband uses it. I won't travel without it. But now we all have to find a new soap because of how AWFUL this "refreshed" soap is. The new smell is disgusting (it smells like something in a gas station bathroom or a cheap over-powering gross air freshener), it leave a disgusting sticky feeling on my skin, It's slimy and goes flying out of my hands repeatedly in the shower, and hair gets stuck to it that you can't get off of it without digging your fingernails in the bar. I used to buy this soap religiously in bulk from Sam's Club every month but I now started buying Dove instead. Avoid this "refreshed" Caress, DO NOT BUY IT. (wish I could leave negative stars on this review)

Why did you change the formulation? I've used this soap for over 30 years. Nice mild scent and left my skin feeling moisturized. Now the scent is overpowering and my skin feels completely dried out. It was perfect as it was. I just bought the 16 pack and they are going in the trash.

This is not even close to the same soap they have been making for decades. This new formula is gritty, leaves a sticky, filmy feeling on your body, and causes breakouts on shoulders and back. It's also irritating to sensitive areas. This is clearly made with inferior ingredients. I'll never buy this again. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve Been using the caress beauty bar soap and I’m impressed with the scent that is so good . It’s so soft and feminine and actually lingers on your skin even after you’re out of the shower. And after hours you can still smell it on your body.

I have been a Caress user for over 40 years. No longer since the scent change. Not necessarily because the scent, the soap itself is not the same. Leaves skin tight and drier. Also leaves a film in the bath water and on sides of tub.. very disappointing. At least give us a choice to buy older version.

Not a fan. It makes my skin dry, please go back to original.
