Since caress has changed the formula I am not a fan. The smell reminds me of chemicals a d not freshness. I know this will sound weird but the soap has more slip to it as opposed to the older formula.

I have been using Caress for over 25 years. This change is extremely disappointing. This new formula is slimy and feels like cheap soap. My whole family is very upset about this change. I will be donating this soap and purchasing Dove.

New formula is AWFUL. Leaves a film on the skin, dries out the skin and the skin feels terrible! Do you know how after you wax your car, the water beads up? That’s exactly how your skin looks when you rinse.

This new formulation is disappointing in so many ways-- 1) more flowery scent, 2) incredibly slippery & difficult to hold on to, 3) does not leave skin feeling smooth after washing off (my skin felt drier)

I usually feel like bar soap dries me out but this soap doesn't do that it leaves you feeling very moisturized. The smell is also strong enough to really smell it without being overpowering.

I have used this soap since I was a kid so for 30+yrs and I am beyond disappointed with the new scent/formula. My skin is extremely sensitive and I don’t do well with changing soaps! I am very upset I’ll have to change to a different soap because I hate the new smell so much!

I usually use a soap for sensitive skin and it takes a while to get my old deodorant off, NOT THIS SOAP. Cleans great! It even foamed nicely on my wash cloth and I didn’t have to go for more. My fiancé said it dried him out but I moisturize every day so I didn’t feel that. I wouldn’t use this on sensitive areas because I just don’t put scented soap in those places. I’m really happy I got 2 of these!

Like I said im a big bar soap fan and this one doesn't let me down! The smells off these Caress Bar Soaps are amazing and they actually smell great on my body after I dry off. My boyfriend loves this one. Not only do these smell great but they really get you feeling clean and fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest it dries my skin but I found out that if I use the bar soap after playing my sports or working out at the gym it’s the best feeling because I feel really extra clean, and then for regular basis I shower with my moisturizing shower gel for sleep etc so my skin doesn’t feel like it strips all the moisture of your skin.
