I'm over 60 years old. I've used your soap all my life, along with my family and friends. The Caress daily silk white peach and orange blossom bars. I take very good care of my skin and I'm told I only look 40 years old, no lie. I attribute it to my diet and your soap. Another plus for using this soap is that it never leaves soap scum in the bathtub, really. This soap has been pure quality, and a quality price, and quality feel and smell. I, recently, purchased more caress soap that came in a pink box (instead of the peach box). So, I thought, you improved the packaging only which is pretty. However, I opened a new box of soap and took a shower. I, immediately, noticed that it did not lather up as much and it felt very very oily and slippery, had trouble holding onto it due to the slippery consistency. This new soap formula actually caused stinging in my eyes and private parts. I had to return this soap back to the store and got a full refund. Why have you changed your fabulous formula? I can only guess because of cost. I wish you could go back to the original formula. (If it ain't broke don't fix it) right? Now me and others will have to go with another soap choice. Which makes us sad to do so. Thank you for your time.

I love this soap! It smells absolutely divine! Not only does it smell amazing but it makes your skin feel baby-soft. With its lovely peach-pink color it's definitely worth the price. Although my skin is sensitive, I highly recommend this product to those whose skin is not as sensitive. (P.S. : Even if your skin is sensitive, you can keep the bar of soap in a drawer to keep your clothes smelling AMAZING!)

I used caress because I needed the nourishment. I’m not the best for putting on lotion. My husband is a hairy, burly, manly man and used other deodorant soaps all his life. He gets small bumps on the back of his arms. I encouraged him to try it. Now it’s his favorite! The scent isn’t even noticeable. Perfect for our family.

I am very disappointed with the formula changes to this product. I had used this soap for more than fifty years, because it was the only one that did not irritated my skin. However, because of the recent changes to the formula, I had to stop using it. It gives me rashes, leaves my skin ashy looking, and with the new so called "Refreshing Scent" that smells horrible, I had to stop using it, and on top of that, leaves my bathtub and shower disgusting.

I've been using Caress White Peach Daily silk bars since I could purchase my own soap as a teenager. I'd liked it before then, when visiting my grandma, and she had been using it since before I could remember. I enjoyed that it's scent was a light natural almost soothing fragrance. Not the chemically fruity, chemically floral, or baby powder smells usually relegated to women's soaps. I also loved that it left my skin feeling soft. Recently I've been having trouble finding it at my usual store. This last stretch of time, I couldn't find it for near a month. I finally saw it at my local grocery store, and scooped up a set. Almost missed it due to new color packaging going from a sedate peachy color, to very pink. Figured it was just a new printer ink being tried out. I finally went to use one for the first time today. To say I was unimpressed and unhappy would be an understatement. I finally noticed that the packaging stated "New Look & Refreshed Scent". Already a was a bit weary. As soon as I pulled one box from the cellophane the set of 6 was wrapped it, not even opening the box yet, the smell practically kicked me in the face. It was almost strong enough to set off my asthma. Powering through, I went about opening the box and placing it in the shower thinking a bit of water will help tone down the smell. What I didn't expect was orange inky dots and lines to show up on the bar once water hit it. Slightly disturbed, I continued on,using it as normal. The whole time, feeling a frown of disgust on my face. As soon as I rinsed it off I was even more upset. Instead of the soft silky smoothness I'd been accustomed to, now the after affect on my skin was of a waxy filmy touch. My beloved experience with my favorite soap has gone from lightly scented silky skin, which makes me happy. To being bombarded with the stench of overpowering chemically induced flowery bouquet, akin to that teenage boy body spray everyone hates, and having sticky waxy skin, which has made me unnervingly upset. My only course of action is to write a review here. Sadly understanding it won't make a difference, while knowing I'll never have that experience back. And, to go scavenger hunting for the 'old/original' boxes, until I have to admit defeat. Because I will absolutely never ever buy the "New" version ever again.
