[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Caress Daily Silk Bar Soap for a couple of weeks now, and honestly—it’s way better than I expected. First off, the scent is amazing. It has this soft, floral smell with white peach and orange blossom that’s fresh but still warm and feminine. It’s not overpowering, but it definitely lingers in a good way. I even noticed my bathroom smells nice for a bit after I shower. The texture of the soap is super creamy and it lathers up really easily. You don’t have to scrub hard or use a ton to get a good suds going. It feels really luxurious for something so affordable. One thing I really love is how my skin feels afterward—smooth, moisturized, and not tight or dry at all. I have pretty normal-to-dry skin, and this soap hasn’t irritated me at all. In fact, my skin feels softer with regular use, and I haven’t needed to pile on as much lotion after showering. Also, the bar itself lasts a decent amount of time. I’ve been using it almost every day, and it’s holding up well without melting down too quickly like some cheaper soaps do.

It smells so good. A little goes a long way because of all the foam it makes. In my opinion it is better than a body wash.

Superior skin softness while cleansing, too. I love utilizing a bar- and the cost- effectiveness of it all. I purchase plastic containers that are resealable from the dollar store. There is something about a classic cleansing bar- this happens to be a #moisture bar. My skin feels soft- revamped. The song "you make me feel like a natural.. Woman" 🎶 comes to mind. 😆 P.S. I usually do not want fragrance in skincare- but this has a nice, soft feminine fragrance that lingers on the skin after bathing. It is not powdery or too floral. Just 👌

I have used Caress soap for over 20 years. This new formula change has got to go!! The smell is horrendous, and it leaves a weird film on your skin. When the bar gets wet, it feels slimy. I contacted Unilever with my complaints, and got a response back, basically telling me that I was out of luck. They mentioned that the formula change was because of suggestions from customers. I'm not sure which customers they were, but they weren't die hard Caress users, because if they were, there's no way they would have agreed to something like this. I guess Unilever does not care about their customers. Especially after the email I received. No resolution, no offer for a refund, nothing. I guess I will be returning it back to Sam's and switching to a different soap.

It’s the perfect balance of fresh, soft, and a little bit flirty. The lather is rich and creamy, like silk gliding over my skin. When I rinse off, my skin feels incredibly soft like I just used a high-end moisturizer. I’m not exaggerating. It’s that good. I’ve even caught myself skipping body lotion on days I use it because it leaves my skin that hydrated. The packaging is pink and cute. I have used Caress for over 25 years. My skin always felt refreshed and moisturized with a soft floral scent. This new formula leaves my skin extremely dry and itchy and the scent is very strong. I really love the caress body wash and bar soap. I have so many bar soaps I believe I will return them for body wash. I hope you will go back to the original formula soon...

There's no difference to me in the bar so in any way. My mother would bathe me as a little girl with the bar soap. I continue to use it for the **long lasting lingering luscious scent and satin softness** it provides as you get ready.
