[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally love the caress liquid body wash and I figured I would love the soap bar. That was not the case at all. I feel like this is an okay body soap and the lather is nice but it isn’t a soap that actually sticks. The scent is pleasant but surface level.

I didn't find that it left any residue or dryness to my skin but I am disappointed that the scent has changed (it was a favorite of my Grandmother's..We'd stock her up when we'd visit her in MX) I don't find the scent is overpowering either, it's a light delicate scent compared to the overpowering in your nose scent that it use to be. I will continue to purchase when I'm in the mood for a bar soap.

I really love this soap it makes ur body very soft.once you come after the shower it’s very soft and moisturizing it doesn’t dry out your skin.I been looking for a soap that doesn’t try out ur skin and leaves you feeling fresh and this is the one especially if you use a washcloth to wash urself in the shower.

This change in the soap is the worst ever! . It’s so so sad. The new formulated soap leaves, no scent at all and is so drying on the skin. Not kidding! No scent ! No Moisturizer! Why on Earth did they do Returning the 16 pack I just purchased . Immediately PEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL BAR SOAP

BRING BACK TO ORIGINAL SCENT AND MOISTURIZING CARESS!! I do not like this new scent or formula it is over-powering and perfumy it has little if any moisturizing attributes it leaves the skin feeling dry instead of soft and silky like to ORIGINAL!! This new formula is just a cheap deodorant soap version of Caress that none of us (consumers) asked for. I bought a 16 bar pack that I will be returning to the retailer and going to DOVE after over 40 years of using this soap you have changed everything that liked about it like the scent and how mild and delicate it was as well as how moisturizing it was, I could tell the difference immediately after using for the first time it left my skin feeling dry itchy and irritated! I am so disgruntled as a consumer right now.

I gave it two stars just because I like the smell. Other than that, I would not recommend. I've tried caress before in another scent and it doesn't feel like this one.
