This change in the soap is the worst ever! . It’s so so sad. The new formulated soap leaves, no scent at all and is so drying on the skin. Not kidding! No scent ! No Moisturizer! Why on Earth did they do Returning the 16 pack I just purchased . Immediately PEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL BAR SOAP

I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH THE UPDATE TO CARESS SOAP. MY FAMILY AND I HAVE BEEN A FAITHFUL CONSUMER OF THIS PRODUCT FOR 10+ YEARS. THE BAR SOAP SMELLS CHEAP AND LEAVES MY SKIN FEELING LIKE IT'S BEEN WASHED IN WAX. (FEELS LIKE CHEAP HOTEL SOAP!) THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE PREVIOUS VERSION. WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER SOAP TO USE. CARESS, YOU HAVE LOST A FAITHFUL CONSUMER DUE TO SOMEONE MESSING WITH THE PREVIOUS FORMULA. IF I COULD LEAVE NEGATIVE STARS, I WOULD.

When I use bar soap, this is my go-to. The scent is light and fresh smelling, not too overwhelmingly floral - just smells clean. It lathers well on a loofah and makes me feel and smell super clean after use! Not to mention the color of the soap is very pretty and the packaging is pink!

So baffled why they'd change a good thing. The new scent did not bother me as much as the feel in the shower, like my skin had been leeched of all its moisture. The closest way I can describe it is as if I had showered in rosin powder, the kind used to enhance stickiness or grip. I run my hand down my arm, even wet, and it does not glide, it sticks. I have exclusively used Caress for over 30 years, but now I am shopping for a new personal soap.

My first impression of the soap was the floral scent. Very feminine. The bar also very smooth to the touch. Once you are using the soap you don’t smell it as strong and it’s just the perfect about of fragrance. The soap was soft and silky and made my skin feel clean and fresh afterward. A few hours later I still smelled fresh and my skin felt moisturized. I would recommend!

I have used Caress I believe for 25 years straight. I hate the new scent. Same packaging, same color but definitely a new scent. It’s like I want to take a shower to wash off the smell after taking a shower. It’s too perfumy flowery and not fresh, clean smell like before. It’s so bad that after using the soap for 25+ years I am going to have to find something new.
