[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked how soft it was, but it was too slippery. The lather is good, but it's better , the scent is soft and the effect is the same but the only thing was the slippery pat. Other than that, it's good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A classic bar of soap! It did not leave my skin dry and it smells nice. I wouldn’t particularly go out of my way to get this scent but it was pleasant to use (the orange blossoms can get overwhelming at times). Lathers beautifully!

I have always bought the original Caress bath soap and have really liked it. When the white peach and orange blossoms came out, I tried it. I have to say that I do not care for it. Although it smells good, the soap sticks to the skin and causes a film to remain when rinsing off in the shower. I will not purchase this product again.

This new formula and scent is horrible. It leaves my skin feeling dull and rough like cheap soap, not soft and silky like the original. And the original scent was amazing, why change it? This new scent smells cheap and typical. I have been using Caress Daily Silk for 48 years and lucky for me, I found a huge stock of the original at my local grocery store. I wiped them out and have enough for a year, but then what??? I am doomed! Please bring back the original!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soap smells amazing. The packaging is super cute cause who doesn’t love pink. It lathers a very smoothly like the packaging says is very moisturizing. I use it with my serums, and after I clean and prep my face for my room, my skin is glowing with this moisturizing bar the ingredients on it are super amazing for the skin. Definitely an all over the bodybar of soap eight out of 10.

As others have similarly said, I too have been using the "Daily Silk" soap for 30+ years and have loved it! I even took bars with me when I would travel overseas on business trips for multiple years. BUT when I returned to the US from my most recent trip and reordered my favorite soap, I was met with a product that smells completely different! Not even close to the same. The new formula scent is SUPER strong and I can still smell it lingering in the air hours later in my bathroom! It also does not leave my skin as soft smooth as the previous formula and makes my skin "squeaky" after rinsing which is one thing I disliked about other soaps and why I have used the Caress product for so long. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. Soap is one of those things that impacts your "smell", and now I feel like I smell totally different and not in a good way! I will unfortunately be looking for a new everyday soap as I just cannot tolerate this new formula/scent. This is the first product review I've every done online, but I felt it was necessary. So sad!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use a lot of Caress body wash, and they have a good variety of scents. But the soap smells really good and is partially moisturizing. I did notice my skin to be a little drying afterward. But not overly drying. I will use it probably in the summertime when my skin feels a bit more oiler.

The bar soap smelled like bird feathers. The lather was ok for the first outer later and then it stopped lathering well and dried out and split. Overall, a very poor product and a disappointing change from the original Daily Silk - which now seems to be discontinued. This quality is akin to cheaper brands on the market. As a result, I will no longer be buying Caress soap.

I have been using Caress bar soap for over 50 years and all of the sudden it has a new look and new formula? This "new" formula is NO WHERE near the same scent or remotely close to the original daily silk. This loyal customer is now jumping ship with a bad attitude and a journey to find a new soap that will start my day feeling fresh.
