PLEASE bring back the original Caress formulation! This new Caress has a cloying, stronger scent that makes my whole bathroom smell, feels slimy when wet, does not suds up very well and leaves my skin feeling sticky/tacky. This was NOT an improvement. I've been a loyal user for decades and don't believe this soap needed to be "improved".

I wish I could leave ZERO STARS!!! The “NEW LOOK & REFRESHED SCENT” in pink box is a huge disappointment!!! New scent makes me nauseous!!! It’s sickening! Suds are relentless! Doesn’t even resemble the original Caress!! Formula is completely different! Been using Original Caress for 50+ years! Will never buy this new scent ever again!!! Returning 15 bars back to store!!!

Just bought and used today. Noticed the new scent, but since they didn't have the usual one, I bought it thinking it should be the same. I was WRONG. I do not like this new scent and I don't like the way it feels on my skin. I will be returning it tomorrow

Like most users I too been using CARESS since the late 90's. The new formula is so terrible it's giving over priced cheap soap like Irish Spring. I came to the r3vaiews to see if it changed back to the old formula, but I guess not. I literally have a bulk package of soap I can't use. I had to switch soaps. It sucks!!!

I think the reviews speak for themselves. I reached out to Caress and asked why they stopped the original formula, and they said, because they wanted to improve and believed that's what the customers wanted, but I've been a caress user my whole entire life and now have to switch to something else. I cannot stand the new formula. It's so slippery and drying of my skin. It's horrible! Companies make multiple different versions or scents of a product all the time. But why stop making the original? I hope they catch on soon and come back with it. If you go to any store and look up the reviews, they all say the same. The new formula is atrocious.

I have been using this soap my entire life and what they have done to this soap is so disappointing. It doesn't lather, it feels sticky, it leaves a film, it stinks and leaves your skin dry. I hope they realize once sales go down that they need to bring back the original formula. Who did they hire to do the product testing? I just don't get it. Had to return 32 bars to Sam's club.

I have used the original Caress soap for many years and loved it. This stuff is terrible! My skin is dry, and the soap is so slippery that I can't hold on to it in the shower or tub. Please bring back the original Caress. It was the perfect soap for me. I do not recommend this product.

They changed the formula and it now has a strong cheap smell to it. Leaves a tacky film on skin. Returned it. After using for many, many years I will not buy it again. I noticed Sam's Club has reduced the price quite a bit. I think people are definitely noticing the difference. As word gets out that this soap has changed, they soon won't be able to give it away.

The sherbert colored box is not pink. The soap has a different smell. They have changed the formula. It STINKS and smells cheap. I bought in bulk like I usually do, not realizing the soap has been changed. When things change, they should be new and improved. This is the most godawful smell ever. I HATE IT!!!! I'm switching to Dove. Now, I'll smell like my grandmother which is better than this new scent. I'll have to donate the other 15 bars. No way I'm putting that stinky stuff on my body again. Someone should be fired. You should make your consumers happy, not sad. The good old soap I was used to was like aromatherapy. It truly made me happy.
