[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using these bars of soap and I feel like they smell good and the scent lingers on your skin. Not only do they smell good, they leave your skin feeling clean and soft. Also, I felt like my skin was silky and softer than before. I love the pink packaging it’s beautiful pink bar of soap. This bar of soap lather very well with a small amount of water.

I've been using Caress White Peach Daily silk bars since I could purchase my own soap as a teenager. I'd liked it before then, when visiting my grandma, and she had been using it since before I could remember. I enjoyed that it's scent was a light natural almost soothing fragrance. Not the chemically fruity, chemically floral, or baby powder smells usually relegated to women's soaps. I also loved that it left my skin feeling soft. Recently I've been having trouble finding it at my usual store. This last stretch of time, I couldn't find it for near a month. I finally saw it at my local grocery store, and scooped up a set. Almost missed it due to new color packaging going from a sedate peachy color, to very pink. Figured it was just a new printer ink being tried out. I finally went to use one for the first time today. To say I was unimpressed and unhappy would be an understatement. I finally noticed that the packaging stated "New Look & Refreshed Scent". Already a was a bit weary. As soon as I pulled one box from the cellophane the set of 6 was wrapped it, not even opening the box yet, the smell practically kicked me in the face. It was almost strong enough to set off my asthma. Powering through, I went about opening the box and placing it in the shower thinking a bit of water will help tone down the smell. What I didn't expect was orange inky dots and lines to show up on the bar once water hit it. Slightly disturbed, I continued on,using it as normal. The whole time, feeling a frown of disgust on my face. As soon as I rinsed it off I was even more upset. Instead of the soft silky smoothness I'd been accustomed to, now the after affect on my skin was of a waxy filmy touch. My beloved experience with my favorite soap has gone from lightly scented silky skin, which makes me happy. To being bombarded with the stench of overpowering chemically induced flowery bouquet, akin to that teenage boy body spray everyone hates, and having sticky waxy skin, which has made me unnervingly upset. My only course of action is to write a review here. Sadly understanding it won't make a difference, while knowing I'll never have that experience back. And, to go scavenger hunting for the 'old/original' boxes, until I have to admit defeat. Because I will absolutely never ever buy the "New" version ever again.

When I washed my hands using the Silk Bar they were immediately lather with the soap and I could feel how silky and smooth they felt. The afterward feeling is not sticking at all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent of these bars is soooo pretty! Light but floral. I normally don’t love bar soap but this one doesn’t leave a weird layer on my skin. Lathers up nicely and you actually feel clean after using it.

I have used Caress Daily Silk (White Peach & Orange Blossom) for over 30 years. Love the scent. Whomever decided to change the scent should be moved to another department. "Noticeably silky soft skin" does not trump scent. There are so many other soaps out there, but none of them have the original scent of Caress. Just because I am getting older doesn't mean I want to smell old. Please bring back the original scent.

The scent is fresh, light, and long lasting, it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized after every use. The floral fragrance with a hint of fruit is perfect for a refreshing shower experience. Definitely one of my go-to soaps for a luxurious feel without the high price. Highly recommend!
