Reduces duration of common cold and helps relieve nasal congestion

For best results, use at the first sign of a cold and continue to use until symptoms completely subside

Adults and children 12 years of age and older:

Take 1 tablet at the onset of symptoms  

Dissolve entire tablet in mouth. Do not chew. Do not swallow whole.  

Repeat every 2 - 3 hours, not to exceed 7 tablets in 24 hours. Take until symptoms are gone.

To avoid minor stomach upset, do not take on an empty stomach

Do not eat or drink for 15 minutes after use. Do not eat or drink citrus fruits or juices for 30 minutes before or after use. Otherwise, drink plenty of fluids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Zicam Cold Remedy Rapid Melts and I have found they really do seem to shorten the duration of my colds. I try to take it at the onset of symptom and I add extra Vitamin C between the Zicam. There are other brands now that are less expensive but I haven't found one that works as well as Zicam. The taste is not pleasant but better than most other cold remedies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Zicam Cold Remedy RapidMelts really do work well! They usually shorten my cold enough that I'm not knocked out by it and can get back to being a full-time mommy faster! The RapidMelts taste good and dissolve nicely, they aren't too gritty. Too many will give me a stomach ache so I always make sure to take them with a meal and generally don't take as many as recommended on the box each day. I take them for the first 2-3 days of a cold and feel so much better! Symptoms are usually gone by day 4 or 5, as opposed to 7-10 days normally.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the taste answer ease of using the Zicam rapid melts in citrus flavor. I am noticing that my cold is not getting worse. I still have it but as of right now it's not easing up. I like the fact I can take these with me and I don't need anything to drink to take one. The citrusy orange flavor is really good and it doesn't have a nasty aftertaste. I will keep taking this in hopes my cold will get a bit better but glad it's not getting worse. I would definitely try this again maybe in the other flavor.
