I love that this gate is secure and tall. It also has a design that is difficult to climb. We had a cheaper wooden one in the hallway and it was shorter and my son can climb right over it. I also love that it is metal so it is more sturdy and the walk through gate is a great feature for my elderly relatives. Only down side is you have to drill holes in the wall but that is so easy to fix.

This is a good gate .. Made well and strong , we haven't used the  wall holders and instead just use it with the tension rod and it's working well to keep our 70 lb lab from getting into other rooms .. Love the door so we don't have to take it the full gate down or hop over it ever time .. Easy to put together .. Fits our larger door opening perfectly

Sturdy , made well

This gate has a sturdy construction and holds up well. I am using it for separating my pets from part of the house. I have an odd size opening of 47" and this gate fits well with the given extentions. This gate is more solid feeling than the acordian style gates made of wood or plastic.

Shipping with site to store arrived early and the packaging is well designed.

Worth the extra cost.

I bought this gate to keep my puppy in the kitchen when we went out. Unfortunately the puppy was too little and the gaps were too big. I looked all over for something that had the walk through door (making it easier to get in & out) but had smaller gaps, needless to say I could not! I managed to fix the problem with some cardboard until the puppy get a little bigger! 

I highly recommend this gate, weather it be for a puppy or a child.

Very easy to install

I am using it for a pet gate, with 2 of the extensions. I like the pressure mount, but you do have to be careful going through the gate. If you hit it by accident, it throws off the position of the mounts. I do wish the walk thru gate was slightly larger than it is. Overall, it is just what I was looking for. I haven't had it long, but so far I am very happy with it.

Perfect for what I need!

We bought this specifically for the fact that we needed two for across our hallway and into our kitchen, which are wider than normal spaces. I read the reviews about how easy it was to install and how great a product was and decided to give it a shot.

It was easy to assemble and it was easy to install. My only issue is that when you use all the extensions given to span the space you need spanned, the gate isn't as sturdy as I'd like. I have it as tight as I can get it and when you grab it and shake it, it moves a little.

For now our daughter is only 10.5 months old so she doesn't have a lot of tugging power behind her but as she gets older, I am not sure if her yanking on it, trying to figure it out, will make it come down or not. :/

We might have to zip tie the joints between the extensions together to give it some added strength.

Wide Span Gate

Basically it's a pretty good product. It is easy to open with one hand, but can be locked so that young hands can't open it. However, the wide span (which is perfect for large openings), is pretty flimsy when extended to it's full width. The entire span will sway and give when any type of pressure is placed on it. It just doesn't feel very strong at all.

Needs to be a little more sturdy

The add stated with an order of $50 freight would be free. I ordered two items so total would be more than the $50. I also noticed there are no phone #'s anywhere so you woan't be bothered with calls!

Walmart charged me freight.

Ordered an extra wide gate w/ 3 extensions and was charged for that. However, item received was not the correct one and after not being able to resolve this thru customer service on the website, had to repackage what was received and returned it to an area store. Definitely not an enjoyable experience!
