The Lifetime Wave 6' Youth Kayak is specifically designed for kids ages 5 and up, or up to 130 lbs. The wide stance provides a stable paddling platform to keep your child safely in the kayak. Its sloped backend and swim-up step allows any rider to easily re-enter the kayak from the water. With scupper holes to drain the cockpit, multiple footrest positions and great stability, the Wave™ is ideal for kids' recreational kayaking.

All the Features of a Big Kayak

Perfect for kids of all ages, molded finger handles on each side of the kayak make it easy to portage. The reverse chine adds enhanced stability. A lightweight 18 lb. design, the twin fin kayak assists in tracking and surf riding. The ergonomic cockpit design enhances balance and motor skills, while multiple footrest positions allow for different sized riders. The durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) construction is UV-protected, and will not fade, crack, or peel.

Better than expected! My 9 year old daughter had zero trouble cutting through the water and keeping up with the adults in this kayak. I modified it by adding a seat using some waterproof rivets but other than that it all went perfect.

    Great kids Kayak

    Got one for my 7 year old Grandson for Christmas. He went out on the lake here in NC the next day. It was very stable and he was able to maneuver and paddle it very easily. He thinks it is great to be able to go where he wants to explore.

    These are great little boats

    I bought one of these for each of my two boys when they were 5 years old. They love paddling around on lakes, reservoirs, ponds, and the Pamlico Sound. These are very stable and easy for kids to paddle. It makes them proud to have their own boats just like dad. We like these well enough that I bought a second pair to leave in Tennessee.
